Welcome everyone to the 2nd Information Package for the Bullmastiff National in Brisbane in 2023!
By now many of you will have booked your accommodation and are saving your pennies for the auction, as we are only 4 months away! Both the trophy and auction tables are groaning under the weight of the items we have sourced and received from our amazing sponsors.
This information pack provides updated details on many of the ongoing aspects of the weekend including sponsorship, with many classes still needing to be filled. We have sourced unique custom made trophies and prizes for all classes so please consider sponsoring a rosette, trophy or prize, details inside.
We would also like to welcome our new major sponsors Antinol Rapid and Inner Winner and we thank them for their generous support. We have been extremely fortunate to secure some amazing sponsors and we hope that all the bullmastiff fraternity support them as they have been so generous to us.
I am also very excited to announce details of a new competition and award which will be offered at this National, in honour of Alan and Mave Rostron of Graecia Kennels. The Bullmastiff Club of Queensland will be holding the inaugural Breeders Championship Pointscore over the entire event, with points accumulating at all shows with the winning breeder being awarded the Graecia Memorial Trophy which they will get to keep. This beautiful trophy has been proudly donated by Julie Lindley (Hyerdunscar Kennels UK) and comes from Alan and Mave’s personal collection. I’m sure something everyone would be honoured to win!
We will also be holding a bullmastiff breed lecture to be conducted by Andrew Burt. This informative session is open for anyone wishing to attend and we thank Andrew for doing this for us and showcasing our breed in another forum.
Regards
Andrew Smith
