TERENCE CONRAN Sir Terence Conran is one of world’s best known designers. Born in 1931, he founded Conran Design Studio in 1956, and Conran Holdings in the 1990s. His philosophy has always been ‘plain, simple and useful’, demonstrating his belief that if products are thoughtfully designed, they will help improve the quality of life of those who use them.
