In una chiesa del Quattrocento, nel quartiere di San Niccolò, una bottega boutique dove le scarpe, realizzate a mano con pellami di altissima qualità, sono le vere star. Due prove per conquistarsi il paio ‘su misura’ perfetto per estetica e per comfort, o una sola per il prêt-à-porter di ugual livello, da ritirare in una scatola di legno, come vino pregiato. Accanto ai maestri di bottega, una decina di ragazzi ne imparano l’arte perché i valori artigianali non vengano mai dispersi.
In a 15th century church in the San Niccolò quarter, a boutique shop where shoes, handmade with the highest quality leather, are the true stars. Two fittings to acquire a bespoke pair, perfect in terms of both aesthetics and comfort, or just one for ready-to-wear of the same quality, presented like a prized wine in a wooden box. Alongside the Master craftsmen, a dozen or so apprentices learn the art so that the values of fine shoemaking are never lost.
