First as an observer, then as a student intent on making visits, I saw, heard and touched in the Natural Reserve of Pantalica still alive - between the necropolis, the Byzantine villages and valley engraved of Anapo - the people there that they found refuge for centuries, leaving us fragments of their everyday life, signs, rites. Every time I went on a visit to Pantalica, I came out with a trembling soul, infatuated. The thesis is developed initially with an analysis of the visual communication systems of an area, how it should be promoted, designed and properly communicated within the territory. The second part proposes a project that aims to relate visually to the users of today fragments of everyday life, signs and rites of the ancient Pantalica with an iridescent mark in the form, sign and color, a visual identity for a place from extraordinary value for the history and nature of Sicily and of all humanity
