we design places that build community, contribute to a sustainable world and enrich the individual

As architects, we are concerned about the human interface with the physical environment.

Our designs are not of a predetermined style, but are instead, a reflection of the mission of each client.

is a professional consulting firm specializing in the planning and design of facilities for corporations, camps, healthcare providers, higher education and community service groups throughout the United States. We function as a small, interactive office with a team approach that allows us to maintain consistent involvement of appropriate disciplines and staff in all phases of each project’s planning, design and development. Our team consists of a multi-disciplinary staff of architects, planners, interior designers and landscape architects. Full participation in collaborative efforts and understanding of the client’s specific needs are of paramount importance in the execution and success of each project. Our team is flexible and highly efficient at listening, analyzing, and responding to our client’s needs. We deliver cost effective, creative design solutions that address each client’s special requirements. Client satisfaction is our primary measure of successful performance. The greatest indicator of this satisfaction is our growing list of repeat clients and referred projects. Domokur Architects was founded in 1975, under the partnership name of Peterson/Raeder Architects, for the professional practice of architecture. The firm’s commissions and staff size grew steadily and the company was incorporated in 1981. The current firm name was implemented in 2008.

Sustainability Improving outcomes as well as your bottom line Buildings are huge consumers of energy. Investments in infrastructure, ongoing maintenance and operations need to be managed without compromising performance or reliability. We believe that planning, architecture and design decisions both inform and are influenced by big idea concepts for infrastructure and coordinate closely with

our clients and the project engineers from the earliest stages of a project to get the most comprehensive solution. Cheap Green Opportunities

Our approach to sustainability analyzes systems and design strategies. We look beyond first costs and apply a more comprehensive analysis than life cycle costs to get a result where performance, cost management and sustainable goals intersect.

Improve Efficiency and Reliability

We attempt to understand the functioning of natural systems and minimize our impact on them. As architects, landscape architects and environmental planners, we are uniquely qualified and positioned to affect the regeneration of our built environment. We envision a world where we design for the optimal health of all living things.
