Keeping your Place Clean While at School Who hasn’t gone into a college student’s dorm and about thrown up because of all of the leftovers and crazy stuff growing under all the books and unwashed clothes? It takes some dedication and some strong goal setting in order to keep up on things while you are in college. Here are some steps you can take while you manage your time and space at school.
Organization This is always the foundation to cleanliness and if you really want to keep up on things you need to be able to organize things in a systematic and simple manner. When we talk about organization it is really about sustainable organization because you can try and fail over and over until you just give up all-together. This is the reason that your organization should be simple and manageable, so you can keep up on things in a short amount of time each day.
Less is more When you are trying to simplify your life when it comes to keeping things clean, you need to be willing to do a little “spring cleaning”. There is nothing wrong with letting go of some of your stuff so you can keep a hold of your life better. It may seem difficult, but you will thank yourself as you let go of more and more stuff in order to facilitate cleanliness.
Take time to keep up on it Many people think that the time will just magically appear for them to keep their apartments or living spaces clean, but what they soon find is that pursuing a business administration degree, work and an ever impending social scene is much more demanding than they ever realized. Make sure that you schedule in the time to really keep things clean or you can be sure it won’t happen. Make sure that you apply these steps as you strive for sustainability in cleanliness.
