Starting Your New Life Post-Graduation As excited as most college students are to graduate and get on with their lives, many are apprehensive about their job prospects. Everyone knows the economy is lagging and getting a job of any kind is difficult. However, most feel pretty confident that they will get a decent job post-graduation. With a master’s, graduates are better candidates for more coveted jobs and their expertise will rocket them over the top of many other applicants. Happily, the realization that graduate school is a good option is can never come too late. In fact, working a year or two after getting your undergraduate can build your resume and help you get into a better university, which in turn, will get you a better job after you obtain your next degree.
