Ten Common Mistakes Photographers Make We all have some kind of device to “capture the moment” but are we able to really capture that moment? Here are some mistakes that photographers make.
Photography Mistakes First—Not using flash is something that many photographers fall into at some point. This can really decrease the quality of color and lighting in your pictures. It is important to get a good camera that has good flash. Second—Sometimes cameras have modes to choose from for different lighting and locations. If you are like most people you really don’t want to read over those tedious instructions to understand when and where to use the settings and modes. It is really important to know what to use in different situations. Whether you choose to do it by trial and error or through reading the instructions it’s up to you. Doing something about it is important though. Third— Most photographers don’t backup their files and this is really sad because it only takes one crash and all of your art is gone. This is something that is easy to fix if you are willing to take a few minutes and get it on a cloud or cd. Fourth—Using the wrong lenses is a common mistake that holds many photographers back from getting the right lighting and feeling from their pictures. There are so many and getting an education in photography can help you in understanding what they all do.
Choosing and Using Your Equipment Fifth— Many photographers who are starting out think that they need to get a really nice camera to take amazing pictures but this is not true. Seventh— Getting a fancy camera that is more complicated that the photographer thought it would be is a huge mistake that people make. It is much better to just use a camera that is simple if you don’t have the time to learn about how to use the more complicated one. Eighth— Many photographers delete photos from their camera before they know if they are on the computer. Always check before you get hasty.
Ninth— Not having enough memory card can really put a beginner in a bind because they really can’t take the pictures they want until the other cards up. Cards are really not that expensive now days so it is a good idea to have a small inventory for your photography needs. Tenth— Using a bad editing program can be as bad as using a cheap camera.
