A letter from the President

I am so excited to take on the position of PTA President! This year will bring some new challenges and opportunities to Donaldson families and staff, and I am eager to help in any way possible.

Here are some things to keep in mind as we slide into the new school year: To help keep everyone informed, we have set up a PTA bulletin board in the school office. Here you can find important dates, Market Day order forms, Box Tops and Campbell's Labels submission sheets, and many other helpful tidbits. We also encourage everyone to like us on Facebook at Facebook.com/DonaldsonPTA. Our PTA Membership Drive begins September 2, when forms will come home in your child's backpack. Clearances are required to volunteer during school hours, so please make sure the school office has a copy on file. Our first official PTA meeting will be held Thursday, September 18 at 7:00pm in the Donaldson cafeteria. We will discuss the budget for the school year, present opportunities to volunteer, and hear a great presentation. Bonita Allen from the PA PTA office will offer ideas on how to become involved in your child's education. We hope to see you all there! With all of us working together, I know we can do great things - so let's get started! ~ Kristi Gunderson
