Don Chamblee

Attended several colleges didn't get a degree. Worked as an engineering designer for about 10 years, then a brief stint (3 years) at an advertising agency as an account exec for Waste Management & Pizza Hut. Married Socorro in 1992. Was in chemical sales for 3 years before Socorro and I moved to Pittsburgh in 1998 after she finished physicians residency in Otolaryngology (Ear Nose & Throat for the rest of us). Moved to Peru, Indiana 11 months later and lived there for 5 years. Socorro had her own ENT practice there. We finally ended up in McKinney 7 years ago so Socorro could join a classmate who had started a practice 6 years before. He died of pancreatic cancer 17 months later and Socorro took over the practice. She is a partner in a hospital that opened in Nov. 09. I stay at home and drive kids to various activities. I do a lot of photography, play as much golf as possible and do all of Socorro's marketing. I am hoping to start a photo business this year.
