FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHY // 2011 - 2012

Concept, creation and DTP for the biggest romanian festival of animation, Anim’est. Worked on print materials and managed the design team, planning the visual campaign. Created concepts for the festival posters and 2 of the trophies.

Photographed and organized small and medium groups for shooting sessions. Used specialized programs for editting ( Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).

Worked on various projects: branding, corporate identity, web design, illustration, DTP, packaging. Participated in identity development, covering brand strategy, brand communication, covering industries like services, entertainment, food & drink, events, non-commerce.

Volunteer for one of the largest international student organisation. Created materials for internal and external events, organised and participated in advertising workshops, brainstormings, organisation strategy.

ADC*RO SCHOOL // 2014 Learning about concept, storytelling, positioning, brand strategy in a non-academic four months course. Interracted with different art directors, creative directors of some well know romanian agencies.

BA, SOCIOLOGY, BUCHAREST UNIVERSITY // 2009 - 2012 Modules: Sociology, Social psychology, Anthropology , Communication and editing, Statistics, Public Opinion, Qualitative researching techniques. Dissertation: Consumer’s behavior regarding the second hand products.


LOGO DESIGN

Client: Vlad Creteanu, a freelance photographer based in Bucharest. Brief: The client needed an identity to reflect his main interests: wedding, family and kids photography. Concept: Four focus points transformed into a heart which conveys affection with photography.

Client: Aqua Azur, a company which constructs luxurious pools. Brief: They wanted a refined logo incorporating seaside feeling. Concept: Wavy shapes creating a hardly seen A, with a bright and vivid blue.

Client: Bailiwick Group, Career Strategy & Development firm focused on supporting business professionals. Brief: They needed a symbol to prove their professionalism in career strategy, confidence and good results. Concept: The association between strategy and chess led to a Chess Rook symbol carved with a B letter.

Client: AlpAccess, industrial services company. Brief: Combining rope access services with their passion to mountain and climbing. Concept: A minimal mountain shape which creates two A letters in the negative space. The symbol is covered by a rope pattern.


Client: Cadouri Altfel, a small e-commerce firm for custom presents. Brief: A logo to illustrate the idea of giving beautiful presents. Concept: A present box formed by the two letters of the company, with a bow on the top.

Client: Academia de FIV, an in vitro fertilisation company. Brief: A symbol that shows the academic medium, the high qualification of the medical staff. Concept: The three abreviation letters are transformed in roman columns encompassed by a laurel crown.

Client: UltraFood, a company which helps consumers buy vegan ingredients directly from the recipe. Brief: An identity that illustrates better their boutique of natural ingredients and recipes. Concept: On a rainbow arcade the seeds are growing bigger showing their power and health values.

Client: Soul Music Art, a cultural association for young people to develop their musical skills. Brief: A visual identity to express joy and love for music. Concept: Key notes ‘dancing’ on a heart shape with warm colors.


Client: Vanayad Gaming, a tutorial blog for gamers. Brief: A strong symbol that incorporates gaming and some iconic character. Concept: A dragon, a mythical character used in so many games forms a gamepad from its wings, having them carved with the two letters, V and G.

Client: Fun Fun Friends, a band for children having educative songs and workshops. Brief: A logo that includes a large variety of musical styles. Its purpose should be nonformal education for children. Concept: A F letter shaped in a key note and a trumpet. The colored particles (the confetti) show the idea of celebration and the mix of different music styles.

Client: Quick Work, a mobile application for finding local jobs. Brief: A symbol to convey the job searching process and the location. Concept: The two letters, Q and W are mixed together in a location sign in which the negative space forms a magnifier.

Client: Jayapathics, a cosmetics company. Brief: Because the company sells products based on water with minerals, they wanted something to reflect the approach to the nature. Concept: The letter J forms a drop of water and two waves, one of them being related to ecological aspects of the products.
