You just need a Fisherman’s Picnic button to enter your fish and it must be registered by noon on Saturday, August 3. Winners announced, and prizes awarded on Sunday, August 4 at 11:45 am on the Harbor Park Stage. Prizes are $100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place and $50 for 3rd place for 6 categories: Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, Salmon and Brook Trout.

Joynes Ben Franklin Rock Painting Contest - rocks no larger than 7” x 7” painted with the theme “Grand Marais Harbor”. All entries must be brought to Joynes Ben Franklin by 3 pm, Saturday, August 3. Winners will be announced at 5 pm on the Harbor Park Stage. Rocks will be displayed in Joynes Ben Franklin’s windows until picked up by owners after the contest.
