RADIO WAVES MUSIC FESTIVAL

The annual Radio Waves Music Festival is a celebration of local music and community on the North Shore of Lake Superior. This annual festival, organized by WTIP North Shore Community Radio, brings together diverse musical acts spanning many genres.
SUPERIOR FALL TRAIL RACES
SEPTEMBER 6 & 7
The Superior Fall Trail Races (100, 50 & 26.2 miles) are extremely hilly, rugged and technical trail-races that traverse the Sawtooth Mountain Range via the Superior Hiking Trail in Cook County. All three distances are run point-to-point, finishing at Caribou Highlands Lodge at Lutsen Mountains.

The Arrowhead Eagles Aviation Organization sponsors the Annual Fall Color Fly-in Pancake Breakfast at Grand Marais/Cook County Airport, Saturday, September 28 from 7:30 - 11:00 am. Join us for breakfast, static aircraft displays, a classic car parade, airplane rides and fun, as the ridges above Lake Superior display their brilliant maple leaves in reds and oranges.

Grand Portage Lodge & Casino will host a Fishing Tournament on the beautiful waters of Grand Portage and Lake Superior. Participants will fish for Lake Trout and Salmon (King and Coho) to qualify, and may register and pay their entry fee at the Grand Portage Marina prior to starting in the tournament.
Grand Portage Lodge & Casino will host a Car Show with food, fun and wicked cool cars and trucks on September 14, 2024, with registration beginning at 8:00 am, showcasing vehicles from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
