One of his significant positions is serving as a platform advisor for Black Operator Ventures, a seed fund established by Black tech founders in Oakland, CA. Black Operator Ventures is dedicated to investing exclusively in Black businesses and providing them with capital, business expertise, and access to extensive networks. Dontae's involvement since 2022 showcases his commitment to supporting and uplifting Black entrepreneurs. Furthermore, Rayford holds the position of director of category management at Indeed, a prominent online job search platform.
