”Roll Me Away Jesus”

Are there certain roads that you love riding on to a certain destination? Headed out to my big two wheeler, (I actually ride an HD Triglide), I was tired of my own voice...And just rolled that power on...Rolling across the high plains deep into the mountains felt so good to me finally feeling free...Stood alone a mountain top staring at the great divide. I could go east I could go west, it was all up to me to decide.

I have 3 or 4 different destination roads I love to ride. One particular route travels 333 miles from my location here in Kenly, N.C. It is just over 5 1/2 hours of ride time.

I’d saddle up early before Sunrise but not before a hearty breakfast. Rolling full throttle on a start of the route that fast tracks as many miles of the highest speed limit.

As many miles of staggered white lines under my bike until a lunch break. Roll up on a small country road now to a hometown cafe.

Listening to it’s hometown chatter of the residents stories, then now energized to ride to the base of this destination, less than 75 miles away.

I’m now rolling into a place to bed down for the night, to be up early to ride before sunrise to be at my destination. Am there now in position to be suspended in time to do nothing but watch for the Sun to rise from beneath the horizon and experience God’s recreation of creating the universe for His word in His presence.

Hatter Publications has moved their online bookstore to a great new location. They can now be found at: https:// www.etsy.com/shop/hatterpublications. The store features books of “old school” biker and traditional poetry, tales of life on the wild side, and even some fine art. Hatter Publications is half way through their second year of being in the publishing business. So far, it has been a great ride... Slow yeah, but that is expected in the early years. Still, in the first half of this year, they have already sold more books the entire last year. Keep an eye out for them, because you never know what the Hatter clan is up to...
