ALL, ‘MINI VACATION’

We got there early enough Friday afternoon to stick our toes in the sand and in the ocean, get back to the room and get cleaned up and go grab a bite to eat at Dirty Dicks Restaurant before going to the concert. Dirty Dicks was a hoot and an experience in and of itself. If you’ve never visited, it’s the most fun you’ll ever have while being publically humiliated while eating a good meal! Fast forward to The House Of Blues...what an operation! Beautiful building, awesome bar, pre-concert entertainment by Stan James Gregory on guitar, and very nice interior decorations! And that’s all before you get into the grand concert area! Thank you to Tim and Donna again for the VIP arrangements upstairs and to the management, staff and security (Brandon, Mike, and Ash) at The House Of Blues for graciously honoring Behind Barz Magazine and granting me pit access to be able to photograph the Number One Rated KISS Tribute Band in the World, STRUTTER! This was truly the highlight of our “mini-vacation” and proved to be an unforgettable experience! STRUTTER is Gary Stevens (as Paul Stanley, The StarChild) on guitar, Troy Lynn (as Peter Criss, The CatMan) on Drums, Bill Sebetta (as Gene Simmons, the Demon) on bass guitar, and Jon Slayton (as Ace Frehley, The SpaceMan) on lead guitar. This was the ultimate KISS experience, and having been a fan of KISS since my teenage years, let me tell you that STRUTTER performs all of the signature songs to a “T”!!! The hard rock music and moves, the facial expressions and mannerisms, the body language, make-up, the solos, and all of the things that have made KISS the number one concert to see for 50 years! If you’ve never seen a KISS concert live and are able to do so, you owe it to yourself to see STRUTTER!!! This was my first time, and I became an instant fan. I’ve seen KISS perform several times in live concerts and I can attest to STRUTTERS’ efforts to be the absolute BEST at what they do!
