Local Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Get A Boost

In February, Destination Door County announced the launch of our new Electric Vehicle Charging Station Mini-Grant Program. Awards in the amount of $1,000 are made available to any Door County business, nonprofit organization, or government entity wishing to add or upgrade their public-use electric vehicle charging infrastructure. We’re constantly searching for ways to better meet the needs of today’s traveler and resident and being able to support those who are creating a more robust network of EV charging station options here is a tangible way we’re able to affect change in the community. So far, 16 grants have been approved, with four awards fully paid out.

This is not the first time our organization has focused
