01 Between Spaces The site is composed as a musical score, using elements that echo the local culture and the uniqueness of the overpass space and embracing the infrastructure of the site and the vibration of the interstate. The form of the piano keyboard relects the spirit of the culturual heritage of New Orleans and serves as the appearance of the urban furniture installed under the overpass. Pipes not only relate the musical treature, but also respond to the trend of cycling as a means of traveling.

02 COTN Park Park Entry
The COTN Park is located adjacent to the Church of The Nations in Athens, GA. The design of the park is intended to provide a resting and recreational area for church users and residents in the surrounding communities. The design also embraces the spirit of Christianity by designing two major walkways to symbolize the form of a ish, which indicates Jesus. The abundance open green areas can accomodate a variety of civic activities, while the dense woods serve as a place for reading the bible, praying, and meditating. The relection pool in the design ofers a sense of peace, and a splash pad serves as the most favored recreational place for children. The worship and the preach as well as the band performance can take place on the central stage, and people can sit in the amphitheater to enjoy.

The site used to be a under-utilized parking lot, generating lots of rain water runof. The new design turns the parking lot into a park, reducing the rain water runof and inviting church visitors and residents to frequently enjoy this open green space.

Dam When dam is dry, it is used as a gathering spot. When rainwater does not reach the outlet, it is seen as a water feature. When rainwater overflows, water flows to canal instead of becoming runoff.
