Dear Possible Partners, We would like to introduce You to DOREA Educational Institute - a quality International Vocational Education and Training Provider in the area of non-formal and socio-cultural education (non for profit organisaton) and invite you to join one of our Erasmus+ KA1 projects: Project title: Enter Unity – EU4U Project: “Enter Unity – EU4U” youth initiative project will focus on boosting awareness tools among youth, present challenges that candidate countries to European Union face at the moment and sharing good practice from current member states. Practical workshops will focus on promotion tools about youth opportunities that European Union is giving, importance of cultural exchange in young people’s life. Creative practical methods will encourage having dialogue on European Union. Hence, the project aims to provide the necessary information and knowledge for the participants on the issue. Date: March/April 2016 (6 days, excluding travel days) Venue: Limassol/Larnaca, Cyprus Target group: Public organisations, non-governmental organisations, youth groups, culture and art organisation, etc. Participants: 3 active youth workers from each partner (no age limit). Totally 8 countries. Important details: The project will be financed by Erasmus+ programme. Therefore, food, accommodation, trips, activities will be fully covered, and according to the flat rate travel costs will be supplied. There is no participation fee. Project title: Build Your Career: Start with an Internship Project: This project is focused on training and networking of those active in youth work and youth organisations in European countries. This training course aims at bringing together those who work with youths, who will exchange the good practices of empowering students for starting their internships and enhancing them to be active in the labour market. The methods applied to the proposed project will be a mixture of theory and practical exercises. More specifically, there would be comprehensive discussions regarding best practices and exchange of knowledge on how youth workers can best tackle the rising unemployment challenge. Moreover, various exercises will allow the participants to advance their interpersonal communication skills and ability to motivate young people to be active in the labor market and to encourage them in developing their creativity and entrepreneurship. Project title: Beat Unemployment! Hire Yourself! Project: The theme of the project is employability, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and self-employment and it is aligned with the interest and needs of young people living in the European Union. The activity will begin with an identification of needs from participants who are working with young people as a way of breaking the ice between them. It is imperative to understand that they share needs as European citizens and have similar social interests. The project will focus to serve the learning process of youth workers combining creativity and entrepreneurship skills, using experiential games as well as other non-formal educational methods as well as promoting curiosity and positivity to serve the process of their coming together for this particular experience. The training activity will comprise of workshops, seminars, outdoor activities and lectures and as a result of the training course, participating youth workers will gain knowledge and skills necessary in developing young people inspiration, tools for their leadership, entrepreneurship, minimizing their barriers to stay long time unemployed.
