The exclusive Concerto String Intensive offers string players a chance to play a concerto movement with a professional orchestra, and an opportunity to study classical music at the highest level while surrounded by the raw beauty of Alaska.

Woodwinds Workshops July 17-21, 2017

Workshops instructed by Isaac Alderson Irish Flute July 17-21 | 2:00-2:50pm | $100 Introduction to traditional Irish music for the silver flute and the simple-system wooden (or plastic) flute. Jigs, reels, hornpipes, polkas, waltzes and airs. Open to all abilities, though students should be able to play a few simply tunes on the flute already. Tin Whistle July 17-21 | 3:00-3:50pm | $100 The tin whistle, also called the penny whistle, has been a mainstay in traditional Irish music since the 19th Century. This class is an introduction to the whistle and its music. Students should come with their
