Personal Profile
Professional Experience
I am a passionate ARB registered Architect with a can-do work ethic and always willing to learn. I am a sociable teamworker with also the ability to work independently, feeling comfortable with deadlines and working under pressure. My studies in Spain have provided me a good range of technical skills that have given me the capacity to work at different stages in the development of a project, from its conception to its final details. I believe that Architecture belongs to its time and place, where contemporary can harmoniously coexist with the heritage. The goalof the architect should be to conceive efficient buildings capable of providing pleasure to the five senses of their users and foster local communities.

Bay Study Detail
Based on the course theme: “Domestic buildings as civic architecture, this thesis takes place in Florence. After a walk across the streets of Florence, one can begin to recognize in the buildings certain common elements which are catalyst of civicness: Loggias, colonnades, courtyards, galleries, etc. I recognize civicness where there is an act of concession to the city. This thesis is based on the idea of those elements that are special for its character and nature and that can be used as tool for designing. I believe that these devices, utilized in the correct position, scale and proportion, are creators of civicness. Therefore the title of this thesis: Devices, toolbox for civicness. The residential building explores the relationships between its users and the neighbourhood.

Young people flat
Old people flat
Details
The project is formed by a Civic Centre with facilities for young and old people with a new open public space and a residential building. The site, currently private, contains a large garden. The main idea of the project is to keep the maximum of trees. Therefore, it is built were less damage is caused. The main building keeps the alienation with the surrounding buildings, dividing the site in two areas: piazza and garden. Both lateral sides of the site are built, providing continuity to the faรงades and closing the isle. The residential building is based on the idea of relationships between young and old people and how both social groups can give a positive experience to each other. The wide gallery access opened towards the garden works as an extension of the private flat. In the same way, large terraces that can be combined between them, are the principal elements of the front elevation of the complex.

04. Extension for Radio Museum in Ponferrada
Above ground: Three different volumes
Under ground: One unified volume
Interaction: Pre-existence + New Extension
Ponferrada city hall launched an open competition for The extension of its Radio Museum Luis del Olmo. The three persons team agreed to extend the current building, restoring and reusing the pre-existences, rather than propose their demolition, in order to keep the city heritage. The proposal connects the current museum with its extension through an underground passage which works as new exhibition space. To do so, the former conference room is moved to the new building. The extension is hosted by two stone existing buildings from the beginning of the nineteenth Century, currently in very bad conditions. We propose to keep the existing walls and complete their original shape with pitched roofs and curtain walls, to differentiate the new from the existing. This decision becomes especially relevant in the tower building, keeping a close relationship with the castle towers behind, which will be reflected in the glass surface. The access to the extension is through a new patio located between the two buildings. A cherry tree, which is the representative tree of the region, presides this access space.

Residential Tower
The Master plan aims to revitalize the area, introducing new low density housing, a commercial area and an extension for the pre-existent industrial area. A pedestrian pavement crosses diagonally the master plan, joining the residential area with the commercial and industrial areas. The tower, situated in the core of the master plan, is established as new Vercelli landmark.
