Comenzamos con la edición de este mes deseándoles un feliz 14 de Febrero, en el cual todos nos demostramos el amor que le tenemos a las personas más queridas tanto familiares como amistades, pero es importante señalar que no sólo hay que demostrarlo este día, sino diario. Ya entrados en nuestra edición, qué mejor portada que tener a la guapa Perla Álvarez Pacheco quien ha formado una familia junto a su esposo Johnny Capote y que amablemente accedió a ser parte ya de la historia de dos8 Vallarta y nos concedió una entrevista muy amena ¡Gracias Perla! En esta edición estuvimos muy activos en actividades del Colegio Campoverde, estuvimos tomando fotos en las clases de psicomotricidad, en las clases abiertas de inglés y en el Congreso de Calidad de todo el personal del Colegio. En cuestión de eventos sociales, estuvimos en la graduación de Enfermería del CUC que se llevó a cabo en las instalaciones del Salón Elite; en el hotel Marival se realizó el acto académico y la fiesta de los alumnos de la UNIVA. Dos8 tuvo la exclusiva del enlace matrimonial de Karina Murguía y Hugo Chávez, el cual se realizó en “Martoca Beach Garden” en Bucerías. Como cada mes, estuvimos en xv años, cumpleaños, inauguraciones, bautizos, festivales y eventos que ustedes nos invitan, y claro que nosotros vamos con mucho gusto, ya que cada mes cubrimos mas eventos de la sociedad vallartense. Los invitamos a que disfruten de esta edición tanto como nosotros al realizarla, así es que pónganse cómodos y no duden en seguirnos en las redes sociales como Facebook, Instagram y twitter como dos8 Vallarta. Love and Friendship month. We are going to start this month’s editorial by wishing you a happy February 14th , a day in which we should demonstrate the love we have to our beloved ones, such as our friends. It is important to mention that we should do so every day and not only on this day. Starting with the editorial itself, what a great cover we have with the gorgeous Perla Álvarez Pacheco! She has formed a great family along with her husband Johnny Capote. She happily accepted to be part of the story of dos8 and gave us a nice interview. Thanks Perla! In this edition, we were very active with the activities and events that Campoverde School organized. We took photos of the Psychomotor activity class, open classes in English and the Quality Congress for the personnel of the school. Talking about social events, we went to the Nursing graduation party from CUC, which was held at the Elite Party room. There was also an academic ceremony and a party from the UNIVA School which was held at the Marival Hotel. Dos8 had the exclusive rights of the marriage between Karina Murguía and Hugo Chávez, which was done at “Martoca Beach Garden” in Bucerías. As every month, we had the opportunity to go to some XVth Anniversary parties, openings, birthdays, baptisms, festivals and events that you invite us and we gladly go. Little by little we are invited to more and more events from the Vallartan Society. We invite you to enjoy this edition as much as we always do while putting all these elements together. Los padres de familia de primaria visitaron las instalaciones del Colegio Campoverde para presenciar las clases abiertas de inglés. El propósito principal de esta actividad, fue que los papás experimentaran la metodología de trabajo e interactuar con su hijos en una sesión de clase y les dedicaran una hora de convivencia a los pequeños que grandes beneficios trae a su seguridad y autoestima. ENGLISH OPEN CLASSES AT CAMPOVERDE Campoverde had the visit of the parents from our elementary school section to attend the open classes in English. The main purpose of this activity is to make the parents experience the working methodology and the way their children interact in class. It is also important for their children to see their parents spending time at school with them because it helps to build their self-esteem and security.

Kids Care estrena nuevas instalaciones
El pasado 15 de diciembre, se llevó a cabo la reinauguración de Kids Care en Plaza Bahía, reubicándose para brindar un lugar más amplio y más confortable para los niños. En el evento se ofrecieron ricos hot dogs, baguettes, postres y dulces a los asistentes, en un cálido ambiente de confianza y compromiso de Kids Care hacia los padres de familia y los niños. ¡Felicitaciones y éxito! KIDS CARE RE-OPENS THEIR NEW FACILITIES Last December the 25th was the re-opening of the Kids Care facilities at Bahía Mall. They moved here, so that could have a more ample and more comfortable place for kids. El Centro de convenciones Marival se vistió de gala para la fiesta de graduación de la UNIVA, en la que celebraron el fin de sus estudios alumnos de las carreras de Nutrición, cuya madrina fue Martha Campos; Psicología, madrina María del Rosario Monroy; Administración, madrina Alma Rosa Malacara Castillo; Administración de Empresas, madrina Nora Luz Alegría García, Admón. de Empres Turísticas, padrino Rafael Villanueva Sánchez; Contabilidad, padrino Ernesto Becerra Bizarrón; Mercadotecnia, padrino Vicente Guerrero Ocampo; Diseño de Interiores, madrina Jimena Vanina Odetti; Arquitectura, padrino José Conrado Cosío Sancho; Ingeniería en Sistemas, padrino Miguel Ángel Miranda Guerrero y Licenciatura en Derecho, padrino Enrique Molina Bazúa. Clases de Psicomotricidad en
Campoverde
Los pequeños alumnos de preescolar del Colegio Campoverde, llevaron a cabo las “Clases Abiertas” de psicomotricidad y deportes, mismas que pudieron presenciar sus papás en las canchas deportivas del colegio para ser testigos de cómo los pequeñines se desenvuelven en su desarrollo psicomotor a través de la acción y el movimiento. Los alumnos realizaron una serie de circuitos con diferentes estaciones y retos, todo esto guiado por sus maestros de deportes. PSYCHOMOTOR ACTIVITY CLASS AT CAMPOVERDE The young students of the preschool section of Campoverde held their open classes of psychomotor and sports. Their parents were invited to go to the sport area to see how their children have developed their psychomotor activities through movement and action. The students made a circuit with different spots and several challenges. Everything was planned and led by their sports teachers.

Siempre buscando la excelencia a través de la capacitación continua, el Colegio Campoverde Campus Vallarta llevó a cabo, el pasado 30 de enero, el Congreso de Calidad, dirigido al personal de la institución. La sesión tuvo como ponente a la Dra. Dulce María Román quien trató el tema de mejoras continuas a los docentes de la institución. Así mismo se trataron los temas de salud y seguridad en el trabajo dirigido al personal de intendencia, mantenimiento, seguridad y niñeras.

QUALITY CONGRESS AT CAMPOVERDE SCHOOL In search for the excellence through constant training, Campoverde School, Campus Vallarta organized the Quality Congress this past January the 30th where all the personnel were invited. One of the speakers in the session was Dr. Dulce María Román, who talked to the teachers about constant improvement. And for the janitors, maintenance, guards and the baby-sitters, she talked about health topics and security measures at work
Es un honor contar, en la portada de este mes, con la guapa Perla Álvarez Pacheco, hija de la pareja formada por Enrique Álvarez Galaviz y Armida Pacheco Ruiz. Perla ha formado una hermosa familia junto con su esposo Johnny Capote Bastida y su hija Isabella Capote Álvarez de 5 años de edad. Ella ya conocía a Johnny de vista, pero un amigo en común los presentó en el Restaurante De Santos, se enamoraron y ya llevan un poco más de 7años de casados.
Disfruta mucho estar presente para compartir las ideas y ocurrencias de su hija, sin dejar a un lado el tiempo de pareja que también es muy importante.
Perla se dedica a su hogar, a ser mamá y esposa. Tiene muchos planes en familia para este año pero ya comienza a estructurar nuevos proyectos para el 2016.
Sobre la educación que le da a su hija, esta joven mamá comenta que trata de contar hasta 50 (risas). Se considera una mamá relajada pero siempre inculcando a su pequeña buenos valores, como la fe en Dios, el respeto a ella misma y a los demás, lealtad, humildad, dedicación, seguridad y perseverancia para lograr sus objetivos en la vida, y amor en todo lo que haga. Considera que los jóvenes de hoy en día son súper revolucionados, queriendo vivir fuera de la realidad y muy aprisa, pero que está en los papás ubicarlos, inculcando valores y predicando con el ejemplo. Un consejo que les daría, es que disfruten la vida con respeto y responsabilidades. Sobre Vallarta y sus próximas elecciones este año, comenta que es un lugar que les ha dado mucho y que, aún cuando atraviesa por tiempos difíciles, es un lugar que nunca deja de sorprenderla y está segura de que vendrán tiempos mejores, pues espera que el próximo gobierno dé todo de sí para un mejor desarrollo de Puerto Vallarta. Su opinión sobre dos8, nos comenta que es una revista casual, fresca y entretenida.
This month we have the honor to introduce in our cover the gorgeous Perla Álvarez Pacheco, daughter of the couple formed by Enrique Álvarez Galaviz and Armida Pacheco Ruiz. Perla has formed a beautiful family along with her husband Johnny Capote Bastida and her daughter, Isabella Capote Álvarez, a five-year-old girl. She had already met Johnny by sight, but one day a common friend introduced them at De Santos Restaurant. Then they fell in love and they have been married for more than 7 years. Perla is devoted to her home and to be a great mother and wife. They have a lot of plans as family for this year, but they have also planned some new projects for the 2016.
She enjoys being there to see the ideas and creativity her daughter has, as well as spending time with her husband. Both of them are very important to her.
Speaking about her daughter’s education, this young mother told us that she has always tried to count until 50 (laughter). She thinks she is a relaxed mom, but at the same time, she never forgets to teach values to her daughter. Values such as faith in God, respect for herself and others, loyalty, humbleness, dedication, self-esteem, perseverance to obtain her objectives in life and love for all the things her daughter does. Perla thinks that the young people nowadays are super-revolutionized, trying to live a reality that is not theirs, and living pretty fast, but it is the parents’ obligation to help them understand their reality by teaching them values, teaching with the example. The advice she would give the young people is to live their lives with respect and responsibility. About Vallarta and their coming election this year, she says that for her, Vallarta is a place that has given them a lot of things. Although it has been through some difficult times, it is a place that surprises her every day. She is sure that it will go through better times. She thinks that the new government would do their best to make Puerto Vallarta a better place to live in and would help it with its development. Her opinion about dos8 is that it is a casual, very fresh and entertaining magazine.

“The white party” para la pequeña
Sofía Sarahí La pequeña Sofía Sarahí Saladin Oblitas, recibió el pasado 17 de enero las aguas que la convirtieron en una nueva cristiana. La nena es hija de la pareja formada por el Sr. Rolf Saladin y de la Dra. Angie Oblitas, además estuvieron presentes sus padrinos Edward Powers y Marcela Auchli. Para celebrar el suceso, se llevó a cabo un desayuno en el Espigón del Hotel Marriott Puerto Vallarta, con la decoración temática de la princesita Sofía, acompañada con mucho amor de sus familiares y amigos todos vestidos de blanco a petición de su papi Rolf. “ WHITE PARTY” FOR THE LITTLE SOFÍA SARAHÍ Little Sofía Sarahí Saladin Oblitas received the water that made her a new Christian on January 17th. She is the daughter of a couple formed by Mr. Rolf Saladin and Dr. Angie Oblitas. Her Godparents were Edward Powers and Marcela Auchli To celebrate this great event, there was a breakfast in Espigón at Hotel Marriott Puerto Vallarta. The place was decorated with the theme of Sophie The First. Sofia was accompanied by all her family and friends and lots of love. All the guests were dressed in white as they were asked by her father Rolf.

El viernes 16 de enero, el Salón Elite se vistió de gala para la celebración de la fiesta de graduación de la Carrera de Medicina del CUC, Centro Universitario de la Costa. Una exquisita cena de 3 tiempos, fue servida a los invitados y reinó un gran ambiente gracias a la música en vivo del grupo versátil que amenizó la noche. El padrino de generación dirigió un emotivo mensaje de felicitación y se mostró un padrísimo videoclip con todas la fotos de los graduados durante su estancia en esta casa de estudios. ¡Enhorabuena! An exquisite three-time dinner was tasted by the guests; the environment was nice due to the musical group that played all night. The generation’s Godfather directed a message to congratulate them. They showed a very hilarious video clip with a lot of photographs from the students while being part of the institution. Congratulations !!

Sports Day en
British American School El British American School Puerto Vallarta llevó a cabo el denominado Sports Day, en el que la instructora Adriana García, fue la encargada de coordinar el evento que dio inicio a las 9 de la mañana en las instalaciones del Jardín Terranova y tuvo una duración de dos horas. Este evento deportivo contó con variadas y divertidas actividades en las que participaron los alumnos de preescolar y primaria, así como sus papás, quienes vivieron una sana convivencia y disfrutaron al máximo. No faltaron deliciosos bocadillos y fruta para calmar el hambre, así como agua para rehidratar después de la intensa actividad.

SPORTS DAY AT BRITISH AMERICAN SCHOOL The British American School Puerto Vallarta organized the event called Sports Day, in which the instructor Adriana García was in charge of coordinating it. The event started at 9 am in the facilities of Terranova Garden and it lasted for 2 hours. There were several funny activities where the students of preschool and elementary school participated, and so did their parents. All of them had a healthy gathering and enjoyed it to the max. Healthy snacks and fruit could not be forgotten to enjoy if hungry, and water to be hydrated after the exhaustive activity.

FESTIVAL DE NAVIDAD DE
KINDERGYM El 12 de diciembre del pasado año, Kindergym Nuevo Vallarta llevó a cabo su festival navideño con una obra titulada “The night before Christmas”, en dicha obra participaron los alumnos de todos los niveles desde prematernal hasta Kinder 3 presentando diferentes bailables. Los alumnos e invitados disfrutaron de momentos agradables al enviar a Santa todas sus cartitas de Navidad a través de un globo de helio y al recibir una sorpresa que el mismo Santa les tenía preparada.

Gran Posada del
Hospital Amerimed Con gran ambiente se realizó la tradicional posada del Hospital Amerimed el 12 de diciembre de 2014 en Salón Terranova. Fueron 150 personas quienes conforman el equipo de dicho hospital, quienes degustaron un riquísimo platillo denominado “suprema de ave poblana” con papa al horno y brownie de postre, para después iniciar con la rifa de los regalos en donde se repartieron pantallas, Ipads, hornos, licuadoras, etc. Finalmente todos disfrutaron y bailaron hasta entrada la madrugada.

GREAT CHRISTMAS PARTY AT AMERIMED HOSPITAL There was a great environment while celebrating the traditional Christmas Party at Amerimed Hospital on the 12th of December in 2014 at Terranova Hall. There are 150 people forming the personnel of this hospital. They enjoyed a delicious dish called “Chicken Supreme Poblan Style” with baked potato and a tasty brownie as dessert. After dinner, there was a gift raffle where TV screens, Ipads, microwave ovens, blenders, etc were given to the audience. The rest of the night, they were enjoying the event and dancing until early-morning hours.

El pasado sábado 17 de enero, se llevó a cabo la celebración por los 15 años de Alejandra Jáuregui en el hermoso Jardín de Eventos Terranova. La guapa Alejandra es hija de Gregorio Jáuregui y Luz Sánchez, y estuvo acompañada por padrinos Apolinar Jáuregui Sánchez y Hermilda Sánchez Reteguin. Alejandra abrió pista con sus chambelanes, Jesús Jáuregui, Ian Gracia, Manuel Enciso, Fernando García y Kevin Fuentes, bailando las canciones “Selfie” de Chainsmokers, “Halo” de Beyoncé y “Let her go” de Passenger, sorprendiendo a sus invitados, quienes pasaron una agradable velada y disfrutaron de la cena a base de espagueti Alfredo con crema de cilantro, medallones de res y como postre, helado de frutas rojas. Además, le añadió un lindo toque a la gran noche ya que deleitó a los presentes tocando la melodía Imagine de John Lennon al piano, junto con su maestro Scyler Shearer. A la celebración, acudieron muchos invitados provenientes de varios lugares, como Guadalajara, Estados Unidos, Canadá Inglaterra, entre otros. ¡Muchas felicidades a la quinceañera! ALEJANDRA’S GREAT SOCIAL DEBUT The past January 17th was the fifteenth anniversary celebration of Alejandra Jáuregui in the incredible Garden of Terranova Events. Beautiful Alejandra is the daughter of Gregorio Jáuregui and Luz Sánchez. Her Godparents were Apolinar Jáuregui Sánchez and Hermilda Sánchez Reteguin. Alejandra started dancing with her dance partners Jesús Jáuregui, Ian Gracia, Manuel Enciso, Fernando García and Kevin Fuentes. They danced the songs “Selfie” by Chainsmokers, “Halo” by Beyoncé and “Let her go” by Passenger. Her guests were happily surprised by her dancing and spent a great time. They also enjoyed dinner which was Fettuccini Alfredo with coriander cream, beef medallion and as dessert, some red fruit ice cream. Besides that, there was a nice touch when she played the piano. She played the song “ Imagine ” by John Lennon with her teacher Scyler Shearer. To her party, there were a lot of guests from different places such as Guadalajara, United States, Canada, England among others. Congratulations!

Con el tema de Frozzen, se realizó el pasado 24 de octubre, una divertida fiesta en honor de la pequeñita Isabella Capote Álvarez, quien cumplió 5 años, por lo que sus papás, los señores Johny Capote y Perla Álvarez Pacheco le regalaron esta fiesta en el Salón La Vela invitando a un montón de amiguitos, además de sus familiares, quienes celebraron con Isabella este suceso tan especial y saborearon los deliciosos hot dogs y hamburguesas. Además los pequeñines disfrutaron de los padrísimos stands de juegos, montados especialmente para ellos. ¡Muchas felicidades! Para celebrar el acontecimiento se realizó una fiesta en La Isla, Jardín de Eventos y la quinceañera lució en todo su esplendor al bailar las canciones “Por una cabeza” de The Tango Project y “Propuesta indecente” de Romeo Santos, acompañada de su bailarían Adrián Carlo Bibian. Un gran ambiente que puso a bailar a todos los asistentes fue generado por la música de Dj Charly Vioratto, además de un magnífico mariachi. La pareja estuvo felizmente acompañada por sus papás, Carlos Murguía López y Ana Carina Cibrian, por parte de Karina, así como Héctor Manuel Chávez Carrillo y María de Jesús Peña Vargas, por parte de Hugo, fungiendo como sus padrinos de honor los señores Gilberto Urrutia Romero y Brenda Patricia Macedo Joya. La ceremonia religiosa dio inicio a las 4 de la tarde y posteriormente, en punto de las 6, se realizó el matrimonio civil en “Martoca Beach Garden”, ubicado en Av. de los Picos 834, Bucerías, Nay., oficiando la ceremonia le Oficial del Registro Civil de San Vicente, Alma Delia Álvarez González. A very beautiful marriage was celebrated on the 22nd of November last year in the church called “Nuestra Señora del Refugio”, where Karina Murguía Cibrián and Hugo Chávez Peña united in marriage and received the nuptial blessing by the priest Dn. Carlos Peña Ramos. The couple was happily accompanied by their parents, Carlos Murguía López and Ana Carina Cibrian; Karina’s parents, and Héctor Manuel Chávez Carrillo and María de Jesús Peña Vargas, Hugo’s parents. Their honour groomsman and groom woman were Gilberto Urrutia Romero and Brenda Patricia Macedo Joya. The religious ceremony started at 4pm and when finished at 6pm, they celebrated the civil ceremony at “Martoca Beach Garden”, located at 834 De los Picos Av. Bucerías, Nayarit. The religious celebration was officiated by the Official of the registry office from San Vicente, Alma Delia Álvarez González. Once the civil celebration was over, family and guests enjoyed a great party to honour the just-married couple. All of them, and in special the newly-wed couple spent an excellent night celebrating and toasting for their happiness. Our best wishes !

El evento fue llevado a cabo el día 21 de Enero en la Biblioteca Los Mangos, donde se dieron cita alumnos, padres de familia y amigos quienes los acompañaron en este tan importante momento. El director general, el Lic. Manuel de la Mora, inauguró el programa dando un mensaje de bienvenida a los alumnos, felicitándonos y motivándolos a que sigan creciendo cada día, dando lo mejor de sí; los coordinadores de cada una de las licenciaturas estuvieron presentes, entregando los reconocimientos a la comunidad estudiantil y tomando la fotografía oficial como parte de un recuerdo para los galardonados. En el mismo evento, Preparatoria Vizcaya realizó la entrega de reconocimiento a los dos mejores promedios del primer semestre, momento muy importante para el Colegio, ya que es un proyecto que está despuntando e iniciando con el pie derecho. VIZCAYA AWARDED THEIR BEST-AVERAGED STUDENTS AND THE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCES The effort made, the fact of being awaken and the enthusiasm given by their students are factors that Vizcaya de las Américas University recognizes at the end of each four-month period by honouring the ones who deserve it, the ones with best grades and academic excellences in the institution. The event was held on the 21st of January in the Library “ Los Mangos, ” where the students, family, parents and friends got together to celebrate this important moment. The Head Master, Lic. Manuel de la Mora, opened the program by giving a welcome message to students, congratulating them and encouraging them to keep on growing and giving the best of them. The coordinators of each of the bachelors were there giving the awards to the student community. There was an official photography as a good way to remember this important celebration. During the event, Vizcaya High School also gave recognition to two of the best averages of first semester. This was a very important moment for the school because this is a project that is starting in a very successful way. FELIZ QUINCEAÑERA Nuevamente el Jardín Terranova, fue el marco perfecto para la celebración de la fiesta de 15 Años de la linda Xitlali Zepeda, realizada el 24 de enero y quien estuvo acompañada por su mamá Amparo Zepeda y sus padrinos Tomás González y Cinthia González. También estuvo con ella, su madrina de “útima muñeca”, Fátima Martínez. La quinceañera abrió pista con la Balada para Adelina y posteriormente bailó como vals, las canciones “No one” de Alicia Keys y ”Fifteen” de Taylor Swift. Una gran cantidad de invitados estuvo presente con la festejada, quienes se deleitaron con el banquete a base de pechuga de pollo rellena son salsa en chipotle y delicioso pastel. No faltó el brindis por la felicidad de Xitlali. XITLALI- A HAPPY FIFTEEN-YEAR OLD. Garden Terranova is again the perfect spot for the celebration of the fifteenth anniversary of Xitlali Zepeda. The celebration was held on the 24th of July. She was accompanied by her mother Amparo Zepeda and her Godparents Tomás González and Cinthia González. She was also accompanied with her “ Last Doll ”Godmother Fátima Martínez. This beautiful fifteen-yearold girl started dancing “ Ballade for Adeline ”and then as waltz, she danced the songs “No one” by Alicia Keys and ”Fifteen” by Taylor Swift. She had a great deal of guests, who enjoyed delicious banquet that was stuffed chicken breast with smoked hot chilli pepper tasty cake. They offered a toast for the happiness of Xitlali.
