Playa, sol y arena, y qué mejor lugar para disfrutar de estas vacaciones que Puerto Vallarta, así es que estamos listos para darles la bienvenida a todos los turistas que nos visiten y claro está que nuestras cámaras estarán al cien en playa y en los mejores antros de la ciudad para captar todo lo que suceda en estas vacaciones de Semana Santa. Iniciamos con los eventos de este mes, comentando quienes engalanan nuestra portada, ellos son los hermanos Rodríguez Serrato, Saúl y Vanessa, la toma de fotos fue el mes pasado en un coto residencial en donde llegamos con toda la producción de la revista para las tomas y después de éstas, hicimos la entrevista correspondiente, la cual los invitamos a leerla y aprovechamos el momento para agradecerles su tiempo y ya a partir de este momento ya son parte de la historia de dos8 Vallarta. En cuestión de eventos, estuvimos como cada mes muy activos, cubrimos 2 eventos de la UNIVA, el “Simplemente Jalisco” y “Gastronomía nacional vista por nutriólogos” dos eventos en los cuales los estudiantes mostraron su interés y participación por los mismos. Del Colegio Campoverde estuvimos en 3 eventos durante el mes pasado, tomamos fotos en el Festival Literario, en el Día de la Primavera y en el Intercultural, el cual se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de Manzanillo y hasta allá estuvieron los alumnos del Campus Vallarta participando en este Inter Buhos Cultural. Este es el 3er año que dos8 cubre el evento Riviera Nayarit Internacional Beach Polo Cup en el que este año, tuvo la participación de polistas internacionales de los Estados Unidos, Argentina, Italia, Austria, Ucrania y de México. Este 2015 dejó como ganador al equipo Interjet conformado por los jóvenes Rodolfo Ramos, Emiliano Ayala, José Alfonso Ayala e Ignacio Cubero, quienes son las promesas más fuertes del polo en México; derrotaron 3-1 al equipo Elite Residences compuesto por los experimentados polistas Juan Carlos Galán, Isidro Olivas de USA y Vicente Gutiérrez. También estuvimos en Cumpleaños, Bodas, Desayunos, Baby Showers y gira por algunos restaurantes de la ciudad. Let’s go on vacation ! Beach, sun and sand, and one of the best places to enjoy vacation … Puerto Vallarta, so we are ready to welcome you, and all the tourists that are visiting us on the Holy and Easter Weeks. Our cameras are ready at the beach and trendy bars in town to take the photos of all the events and things that happen during this vacation. Let’s start with the events of this month by telling you who the people in our frontal cover are. They are the Rodriguez Serrato siblings, Saul and Vanessa. The shooting was last month in a residential property where we arrived with all the production of the magazine to take the pics and after doing so, we interviewed the guys. We invite you to read them and want to take advantage of this moment to thank you for your support and to let you know that from this moment on, you are part of the history of dos8 Vallarta. Talking about events, we were, as usual, very active. We went to two events of the UNIVA. One of them called “ Simplemente Jalisco ” ( Simply Jalisco ) and the second “ National Gastronomy viewed by some nutritionists ”. In this two events, the students showed great interest and participated a lot. Talking about Campoverde School, we were in 3 events last month. We took photos of the Literary Festival, Spring Parade Day, and the Academic and Cultural Intercampus that was held in Manzanillo City, and the students from Campus Vallarta participated at the Inter Buhos Cultural. This is the 3rd year in which dos8 has coverage at the event Riviera Nayarit International Beach Polo Cup. This year, the event had the participation of international polo players from the United States, Argentina, Italia, Austria, Ukraine and Mexico. This 2015, the winner was the Interjet Team, formed by the young Rodolfo Ramos, Emiliano Ayala, José Alfonso Ayala and Ignacio Cubero, who are the strongest promises in water polo in Mexico. They beat 3-1 to the Elite Residential team which was formed by experimented polo players Juan Carlos Galán, Isidro Olivas from USA and Vicente Gutiérrez. We also went to some birthdays, weddings, breakfast, baby showers and we went around to some restaurants in the city. INTERCAMPUS ACADÉMICO Y CULTURAL DE

Con gran éxito se realizó el Intercampus Académico y Cultural con los Campus Colima, Tecomán, Manzanillo y Vallarta, que fue inaugurado el jueves 19 de marzo. Los cuatro Campus del Colegio Campoverde, volvieron a reunirse, ahora en Manzanillo. Fue un intercambio académico y cultural entre los alumnos de Primaria mayor y Secundaria. Entre las actividades que se realizaron, se encontraron el Concurso de Escoltas, Spelling Bee, Pirámide, Rastreador Numérico, Maratón Cultural General, Maratón de Razonamiento y Cálculo Mental, Sopa de Letras: Vocabulario y Ortografía. Además, hubo una exposición de arte y obra plástica, así como una tarde espectacular en la que cada Campus presentó números culturales y musicales, con el fin de que el Intercampus fuera un proceso de aprendizaje integral que les permitió a los asistentes incrementar su sentido de independencia y autonomía. El Intercampus tuvo una duración de dos noches y tres días en Manzanillo, que cerró con broche de oro en donde los participantes disfrutaron de un agradable día de descanso en el Hotel Las Hadas y se recrearon con actividades como voleibol, ping pong, se metieron a dar un chapuzón en el mar y se deleitaron con una rica comida buffet.
ACADEMIC AND CULTURAL INTERCAMPUS AT CAMPOVERDE It was of great success the event called Academic and Cultural Intercampus where Colima, Tecoman, Manzanillo and Vallarta Campus got together. The opening was on Thursday 19th of March. The four campus of Campoverde School met up again, but now in Manzanillo. It was an academic and cultural exchange among the students of upper elementary school and junior. Some of the activities they had were Flag Bearer, Spelling Bee, Pyramid, Numeric Tracker, Cultural Marathon, Mental Calculus and Reasoning Marathon, and Vocabulary and Orthography Puzzles. There was an art and plastic work exhibition as well. The evening was full of entertainment, where each campus performed some cultural and musical acts. The objective of this was to have an integral learning process that let the participants increase their sense of independence and autonomy. The Intercampus lasted for three days and two nights in Manzanillo. There was an amazing closing where all the participants enjoyed a very pleasant day resting at Las Hadas Hotel. They also practiced volleyball, ping pong and swimming, and enjoyed a very delicious buffet.

Por este motivo, se organizó un lindo Baby Shower el pasado 31 de marzo en honor a la futuras mamás en el Restaurant de la Casa Club de El Tigre Club de Golf, en donde las organizadoras cuidaron cada detalle para que las festejadas e invitadas pasaran una muy agradable mañana, en la que disfrutaron de un rico desayuno a base de chilaquiles, jugo de naranja y café, además de las divertidas actividades llevadas a cabo, como adivinar la medida de las panzas, tendedero, balbuceo, entre otros juegos. BABY SHOWER FOR CLAUDIA, MONICA, VERONICA AND NATALIA Four friends got pregnant almost at the same time. They are Claudia Watanabe, who is expecting Regina, Mónica Uranga, expecting Pablo; Veronicas Struck, expecting Mateo and Natalia Cervantes expecting Mariano. Therefore, last March 31st there was a celebration in their honour at the restaurant of the Club House of the Gulf Club Course. The organizers took care of every single detail, so that the celebrated ladies and the guests could spend a very delightful afternoon. They all enjoyed a tasty breakfast with some chilaquiles, orange juice and coffee. There were some funny games as guesting the length of her stomach, clothes line, etc. The future mothers received ribbons with good wishes and lots of gifts and congratulations in the new stage in life. Campoverde
En el mes de marzo, entró la estación de la bonita y calurosa Primavera. Los alumnos de Kínder Campoverde lo celebraron disfrazándose de animalitos, mariposas, flores o alguna otra vestimenta indicada para esta ocasión y muy emocionados llegaron, uno a uno, los pequeños al colegio, ansiosos por ver cómo iban disfrazados los demás compañeritos y también para hacer el tradicional desfile en las demás secciones del colegio en las que los alumnos ya los esperaban entusiasmados para ver sus atuendos en este recorrido. Al término de éste, los niños disfrutaron de la representación de un cuento donde les explicaban cómo es que inicia la Primavera y muy contentos de manera ordenada, se sentaron a observar y pasar una mañana agradable y divertida.
SPRING PARADE DAY AT CAMPOVERDE In the month of March, the most incredible, beautiful and hottest season started - SPRING. The students at Campoverde Kindergarten celebrated this day by dressing up as animals, butterflies, flowers or any other suitable costume for the celebration. All the children arrived one by one. They were not only excited, but also anxious to see what the others were wearing to school. Then they got ready to make the traditional parade all around the other sections, where the rest of the students were waiting for them happy to see the costumes while modelling. When the parade was over, there was a nice presentation of a tale where the beginning of spring was explained. The kids sat in a very organized way to enjoy a very kind and funny morning.

El Estado de Jalisco estuvo en las instalaciones de la Universidad del Valle de Atemajac, Campus Puerto Vallarta; su presencia fue a través de platillos y bebidas típicas de todas sus regiones. Los alimentos fueron degustados con entusiasmo y reconocimiento a su conformación por la comunidad de esta institución educativa; el maestro Luis Ignacio Zúñiga Bobadilla, director general de esta Casa de Estudios manifestó: “Estos eventos visten de gala a Jalisco, además de la cultura que emiten valiosos significados para los universitarios”. Estudiantes de 8vo. cuatrimestre de la Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas Turísticas, junto con sus docentes, organizaron el evento “Simplemente Jalisco”; trajes típicos, loza, instrumentos, utensilios, y documentos informativos completaron su exposición. Además, los asistentes disfrutaron de mariachi en vivo, floreo de soga y ballet folclórico. “ SIMPLY JALISCO” AT UNIVA The estate of Jalisco was present in the facilities of the Valle de Atemajac University, Campus Puerto Vallarta. This was done by exhibition of some typical dishes and beverages from all its regions. Food was happily enjoyed and recognition was given to the state due to their preparation by the community of this educational institution. Teacher Luis Ignacio Zuñiga Bobadilla, General Headmaster of this school mention, “ This type of events are the ones that deck Jalisco out, besides the cultural facts that help students to learn more about the place and give valuable meaning to the university students.” The 8th triennial students of the Bachelor in Business and Tourism Administration, along with their teachers, organized the event called “ Simply Jalisco,” where typical dresses were modelled, cooking stuff such as crockery, cooking utensils and instruments was shown, and some information documents were part of this exhibition as well. The audience could enjoy the mariachi playing live. There were some tricks performed with the typical mariachi rope and some dances by the folk ballet too.

Vanessa Rodríguez Serrato, es nuestra modelo de esta edición, quien sale junto con su hermano Oscar Saúl, hija también de Yolanda Serrato Arias y Néstor Octavio Rodríguez Ávila. Vanessa cuenta con 17 años de edad, su signo es Escorpión y actualmente estudia el 4º semestre de Preparatoria. Ella se considera una chava relajada que le gusta conocer de todo, disfrutar al máximo y rodearse de personas interesantes. Sus metas son: a corto plazo, terminar la Prepa con buenas calificaciones, pero también disfrutar del poco tiempo que queda en Vallarta; a mediano y largo plazo, estudiar la carrera de Aerodinámica y algún día llegar a ser una gran piloto. En vacaciones tiene planeado hacer de todo, aparte te trabajar para poder salir a todos los lugares como clubs de playa, condominios, hacer actividades como paseos, parachute, motos acuáticas y todas las padrísimas actividades que Vallarta ofrece. Su deporte favorito es el fútbol pero le llaman mucho la atención las carreras y el basquetbol. Vanessa tiene un lema: “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work” de Thomas Edison. Vanessa Rodríguez Serrato is one of our models in this edition of the magazine. She appears here with her brother Oscar Saul. Their parents are Yolanda Serrato Arias and Néstor Octavio Rodríguez Ávila. Vanessa is 17 years old, Scorpion and nowadays she is studying the 4th semester of Senior High School. She considers herself as a very relaxed girl who likes to know about everything, enjoys to the max and gets along and likes to be surrounded by interesting people. Her goals are : in short term – to finish her high school, not only with good grades, but also to enjoy the last moments she will be in Vallarta. In mid and long term – She wants to study Aerodynamics and be and excellent pilot. On her vacation, she has already planned to do a lot of things. She wants to work to have the opportunity to go out with her friends to the beach clubs or condos and wants to do activities such as parachuting, jet-skiing, and other activities which are offered in Vallarta. Her favourite sport is soccer, but she also enjoys racing and basket-ball. Vanessa likes the following quote, “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work” by Thomas Edison. To be part of this edition of dos8 has been a great experience for her. She addressed, “ I felt very comfortable doing this and I have had lots of fun. The best was to share this new experience with my oldest brother. Thank you very much dos8! ”

Saúl Rodríguez Serrato, es un guapo chico que engalana junto con su hermana Jessica Vanessa, la portada de esta edición. Él tiene 20 años de edad y es hijo de la pareja formada por Néstor Rodríguez Ávila y Yolanda Fabiola Serrato Arias. Su signo es Escorpión y actualmente estudia la Licenciatura en Nutrición. Él se considera una persona divertida y honesta, que le gusta practicar todo tipo de deportes. Saúl es una persona que ya tiene metas bien definidas, como terminar la carrera de Nutrición y ser constante en el deporte, posteriormente ejercer la carrera e iniciar proyectos para mejorar el estilo de vida de las demás personas, tanto en salud, alimentación y deporte. En vacaciones de Semana Santa tiene planeado disfrutar de las playas y deportes extremos de Puerto Vallarta con familiares que vendrán a vacacionar al puerto. Le gusta practicar, en especial, el fútbol y el boxeo, pero lo que realmente le apasiona es el físico-culturismo, que requiere de mucha constancia, dedicación y pasión, para llegar al objetivo que se tiene en mente. Para Saúl, la familia es lo más importante, ya que trata de disfrutar cada momento a lado de ellos. Salir en dos8 fue para él una experiencia nueva y muy padre: “Se dio la oportunidad y me divertí mucho con mi hermana. Saúl Rodríguez Serrato is a handsome guy who is, along with his sister Jessica Vanessa, dressing up our magazine this month. He is 20 years old and son of a beautiful couple, Néstor Rodríguez Ávila and Yolanda Fabiola Serrato Arias. His zodiac is Scorpion and he is studying Nutrition. He thinks he is a funny and honest person. He likes to practice all kind of sports. Saúl is a young man with well-defined goals, for instance, one of them is to finish his bachelor and other is to keep on being good at sports. Then he wants to work on his area of studies, start working on some projects to help people change their life styles according to health, food and sports. On the Holy week vacation, he has planned to enjoy the beaches and the extreme sports of Puerto Vallarta with some relatives that will be visiting his family here. He likes to practice soccer and boxing, but what he really likes a lot is body-building which requires constancy, dedication and passion to obtain the objective in mind. For Saúl, family is the most important thing in life, so he always tries to enjoy every moment he can with his family. To be part of dos8 was something really rewarding, “ the opportunity was there and I just grabbed it. I had lots of fun with my sister. Diana y José unen sus destinos
Diana Lua Soto y José Roberto Gomez Guillén, realizaron su sueño de llegar al altar después de casi 11 años de noviazgo, el pasado 7 de marzo. Después de un tiempo de preparativos, se llevó a cabo la ceremonia religiosa en la Iglesia de San Miguel Arcángel en el Pitillal y posteriormente una gran fiesta en el Jardín de Eventos Terranova, luciendo en todo su esplendor. Los novios estuvieron acompañados por sus padrinos, los señores Gerardo de la Rosa López y Adriana Gómez Ortiz, además de una gran cantidad de amigos y familiares, quienes presenciaron el vals que los novios bailaron con la canción “A thousand years” de Christina Perri, abriendo pista donde imperó un súper ambiente que hizo que los asistentes bailaran durante varias horas. Para cenar, se ofreció un rico banquete integrado por Mar y tierra de ave, ensalada César y como postres, sorbete y pastel de chocolate. Después de brindar por su felicidad, los ahora esposos partieron de Luna de Miel a Cancún. ¡Muchas felicidades!

DIANA AND JOSE ROBERTO UNITED THEIR DESTINIES: Diana Lua Soto and José Roberto Gomez Guillén, made their dream come true after 11 years of being boyfriend and girlfriend, the past 07 of March. After a time preparing the wedding, the religious ceremony was held at the St. Michael Archangel at the Pitillal. Then they went to the party at the Event Garden Terranova, that was decorated in a magnificent way. The couple was accompanied by their Godparents, Gerardo de la Rosa López and Adriana Gómez Ortiz, along with a lot of friends and relatives, They enjoyed the waltz danced by the couple to the rhythm of the song “A thousand years” by Christina Perri. With this, they opened the dancing floor where there was a nice environment for several hours. For dinner, they enjoyed a delicious dinner which included Bird Sea and Land, Cesar Salad and as desserts they had sherbet and chocolate cake. FESTIVAL LITERARIO
campoverde El Colegio Campoverde Campus Vallarta llevó a cabo su Festival Literario “A la Orilla del Viento”, en el que maestros y padres de familia impartieron distintos talleres dentro de las aulas, orientados a fomentar la lectura en todos los niños. Dentro de los talleres, los alumnos disfrutaron de la lectura de diferentes libros, así como dinámicas y manualidades que hicieron la estancia en cada taller, más agradable y entretenida. Así mismo, se realizó la Velada Literaria “Un Mar de Letras”, en la cual los alumnos de nivel secundaria deleitaron al público asistente con un bonito espectáculo que incluyó presentación de poesía, canto, actuación y arte.
LITERARY FESTIVAL AT CAMPOVERDE SCHOOL. Campoverde School organized its Literary Festival “ At the Edge of Wind ”, in which teachers and parents gave some workshops into the classrooms. Their aim was to encourage children to read. Within the workshops, the students enjoyed the reading of some books. There were some dynamics and handicrafts in each workshop that made the evening more entertaining and pleasant. The Junior High School students took advantage of the event, and prepared the Literary Evening called “A Sea of Letters, ” performing a nice show where poetry, singing, acting and art were included.

Mucha diversión estuvo presente en la fiesta del pequeño Diego Israel Plata Haces, con motivo de su segundo cumpleaños, misma que se realizó en Kids Care Center con el tema de Thomas, el trenecito azul y que fue organizada por sus papás Adolfo Plata Roca y Martha José Suárez Haces. A la fiesta acudieron muchos amiguitos de Diego Israel, quienes se divirtieron en grande con variedad de juegos como “Las sillitas” y “Adivina quién soy”, entre otros más y saborearon ricos hot dogs, pastel, agua de jamaica sin faltar el candy bar, que incluyó papas fritas, palomitas y fruta con chamoy. También quebraron una piñata de Thomas para recolectar los dulces que contenía, pasando así horas de diversión en una tarde sensacional. LOTS OF FUN FOR DIEGO ISRAEL ON HIS BIRTHDAY. There was a lot of fun during the party of the young Diego Israel Plata Haces while celebrating his second birthday. The party was on Kids Care Centre. It was a themed party about Thomas, the blue train. His parents Adolfo Plata Roca and Martha José Suárez Haces organized the party. Most of Diego Israel’s friends were in the party. All of them had fun with several games as the “ Dancing Chairs ” or “ Guess who ” among others. They enjoyed delicious hot dogs and Jamaican water. There was also a Candy Bar that included potato chips, popcorn, and fruit with chili. The kids broke a piñata with the form of Thomas, full of candy. Diego and his friends happily spent hours and a great afternoon celebrating his birthday. Riviera Nayarit InternaTional Beach Polo Cup Este es el 3er año que dos8 cubre el evento Riviera Nayarit International Beach Polo Cup en el que este año, tuvo la participación de polistas internacionales de los Estados Unidos, Argentina, Italia, Austria, Ucrania y de México. El torneo se realizó del 13 al 15 de marzo. El evento de presentación se llevó a cabo el jueves 12 de marzo en el Hotel Hard Rock Nuevo Vallarta, iniciando con una rueda de prensa y coctel de bienvenida, además de la presentación del torneo y el Fashion Show presentado por Tucane. Este 2015 dejó como ganador al equipo Interjet conformado por los jóvenes Rodolfo Ramos, Emiliano Ayala, José Alfonso Ayala e Ignacio Cubero, quienes son las promesas más fuertes del polo en México; derrotaron 3-1 al equipo Elite Residences compuesto por los experimentados polistas Juan Carlos Galán, Isidro Olivas de USA y Vicente Gutiérrez.

RIVIERA NAYARIT INTERNATIONAL BEACH POLO CUP This is the third year that dos8 has the coverage of the event Riviera Nayarit International Beach Polo Cup. This year it had the participation of some international polo players from the United States, Argentina, Italy, Austria , Ukraine, and Mexico. The tournament was done from the 13th to the 15th of March. The introductory event was done on the 12th of March in the Hard Rock Nueva Vallarta, beginning with a conference press and welcome cocktail. There was also the presentation of the Fashio Show, which was presented by Tucane. In this 2015 tournament had as a winner, the Interject team which was formed by the young people Rodolfo Ramos, Emiliano Ayala, José Alfonso Ayala and Ignacio Cubero, who are the strongest promises for polo in Mexico. They beat the Elite Residencial Team formed by the experienced polo players Juan Carlos Galán, Isidro Olivas de USA and Vicente Gutiérrez.

festejan en grande su cumpleaños Las hermanitas Constanza y Fátima Negrete, celebraron sus respectivos cumpleaños con una padrísima fiesta organizada por sus papis, los señores Mauro Negrete y Giovanna Benítez Landa. Constanza y Fátima cumplieron 4 y 2 años respectivamente y la pasaron en grande en su fiesta realizada en La Casa del Árbol, en donde cerca de 70 invitados la pasaron muy bien. Los pequeñines se divirtieron toda la tarde con las amenas actividades que se llevaron a cabo, como pinta caritas, pintura en figuras de cerámica, las 2 piñatas de Peppa y Frozen además de los riquísimos bolos de dulces que les fueron entregados. Y para calmar el hambre, saborearon las deliciosas hamburguesas y hot dogs, además de nieves de variados sabores. Una gran fiesta sin duda. ¡Muchas felicidades a las pequeñas!

North, Pacific, the region round the Gulf of Mexico called “ Huasteca ” and Baja California’s zones. The environment was full of organic materials and decorative ornaments from the mentioned states. This event was a real success.

Humberto de la Mora, así como el mensaje hacia los asistentes por el Presidente de COPARMEX Puerto Vallarta-Bahía de Banderas, Lic. Arnulfo Ortega Contreras, seguido por la presentación “Cierre 2014 y expectativas 2015, del Director del Aeropuerto Internacional “Gustavo Díaz Ordaz”, el Ing. Francisco Villaseñor. También se contó con la participación del Delegado de la Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social, C. P. Felipe Domínguez con la ponencia “Inspecciones y Comisiones” y la participación de la Comisión de Hacienda, con el C. P. Ángel Hernández, para finalizar con anuncios dados por parte de Gabriela Velasco, Directora de COPARMEX. All the people who are members of this business association attended it. The event started at 8:30 am with the registration of the members, and then it was followed by the honouring to our Mexican Flag. There was also a presentation of a business capsule given by Lic. Humberto de la Mora, along with the message given to the audience by the President of COPARMEX Puerto Vallarta-Bahía de Banderas, Lic. Arnulfo Ortega Contreras. Then the presentation “ Closing 2014 and Expectations 2015 ” was led by the Director of the International Airport “Gustavo Díaz Ordaz”, Engineer Francisco Villaseñor.
