"Dressing up your home is an integral ritual during this time of the year. For me, the heart of the home, the entrance should be warm and inviting. u sing different sized plants helped create an array of textures, shapes and colours. A mixture of yellow and orange Marigold, thrown in with accent pink coloured c hrysanthemums creates a soothing harmony, transferring a sense of calm and festivities, all at once. An urli or round matkas with floating flowers, diyas and some rice lights complete the look"

"The joy of communal eating during festivals is heightened. u sing the right colours and light creates a fun, cozy and even more appetizing eating experience. The table is well lit with diyas keeping the spirit of the festival of lights alive, in every bite. o ranges and yellows used in the flowers, mats and napkins and a touch of red in the shimmering coaster are some colours which always pop well on a wooden or neutral coloured dining table."

Setting up the mood with lights and candles is my go-to for bedroom decor. Fairy lights instantly add the festive vibes and so does the colour red. I have never ignored bedroom decor during festivals as this is the space which reminds me of festivities as soon as I wake up. l astly, add nature as much as possible for an instant vibrancy.
