Green House

Everyone loves plants in their homes and offices. However, with space crunch in urban jungles, there has to be a better way to add greenery to our dull lives. That’s where terrariums come into play - they are compact, low-maintenance, and can sit on our office tables or window sills.

Here is a simple DIY guide to creating your own terrarium for yourselves or your loved ones! These terrariums create an ecosystem so unique that the mini-garden created is self-sufficient and requires minimal maintenance. The look of these glass jar mini-gardens is relaxing and soothing to the environment too.

1) All you need is - transparent glass jars, activated charcoal pieces, pebbles, plants, potting mix, handy tools, decorative pieces, and a spray bottle for watering. 2) Choose a glass jar of any size that works for you. 3) Place a layer of coal and top it up with pebbles. This will help in maintaining moisture and removing toxins. 4) Position plant(s) of your choice along with potting mix for nutrition and stability for them. 5) Use miniature garden accessories to decorate your terrarium. 6) Professional tip: Use similar kinds of plants in one terrarium. Eg. don’t mix cactus with succulents in a single terrarium.
