Four Pillars to support your wellbeing
Amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we can often forget the importance of truly looking after ourselves.
In order to feel balanced and well, we need to remind ourselves to look after our whole-selves; focussing on the pillars of Nutrition, Mental Health, Sleep and Physical Wellbeing.
Only then, can we build the strong foundations we need for balanced, holistic health and wellbeing.
Reducing your toxic load
It’s easy to think that your cleaning products or the makeup and body products you apply every day, are safe.
Well, did you know the average woman puts 515 synthetic chemicals on her body every single day without even knowing. Sixty percent of what we put onto our skin is absorbed into our bodies.*
Conscious living is all about being aware of the toxicity we are exposed to, every single day. Switching to clean products can seem daunting, so if you are ready to reduce your toxic load, try simple swaps; one day at a time, for a healthier home and peace of mind.

Replacing your cleaning supplies with natural solutions
When you consider the amount of cleaning products you use in your home, it can be troubling to learn just how many toxic chemicals we are exposed to. Off the shelf cleaning products can be riddled with nasty, chemically-laden ingredients that are known to interfere with our quality of breathing, our skin and overall health.
Making the switch to natural cleaning solutions can be both empowering and beneficial to your health; and you don’t need to sacrifice on time or effort. In fact, making some small changes to the way you clean your home will save you in so many ways!
By switching to natural cleaning, you can: Reduce toxic chemicals in your home. Reduce plastic bottles going into landfill. Reduce chemical products going down the drain, protecting our environment and waterways.

Whipped Hand Cream & Body Butter
Ingredients
200 grams shea butter
70mL jojoba oil
2 ½ tsp arrowroot powder
15 drops dōTERRA Calmer® Restful Blend
15 drops Copaiba essential oil
Method
Place the shea butter in a 4-cup Pyrex measuring pitcher (or other tall narrow mixing container or bowl) and beat for several minutes with a hand or stand mixer.
Once the shea butter is light and fluffy, add all other ingredients. Arrowroot is optionally added to help cut the greasy feel that body butters made with shea butter tends to have. If you don’t have arrowroot, try tapioca or corn starch instead.
To prevent splashes and splatters, resume beating on low, gradually increasing speed as everything incorporates together. Whip for several more minutes or until it reaches an airy, cream like consistency.
You can put in containers right away or cover the mixing bowl and let it sit overnight. The next day, whip the body butter again, to make it extra fluffy. Spoon into jars and cap tightly. Shelf life is at least 6 to 9 months. After several months of storage, the cream will start to settle a bit. You also want to keep it out of direct heat or sunlight or it may melt down.
Rub a small amount into dry skin, as needed. For best results, apply after bathing or showering, to help lock in hydration. A little goes a long way!

Lemon Myrtle trees are native to Australia originating from the subtropical and tropical East Coast of Australia, 50–800 metres above sea level. Aboriginal (indigenous) Australians and Torres Straight Islanders have long used Lemon Myrtle for various purposes.
What Is Lemon Myrtle Good For?
Citral, which is known for its cleansing properties, is the main chemical component in Lemon Myrtle. Use Lemon Myrtle to cleanse the skin or surfaces or purify the air. Always dilute Lemon Myrtle with a carrier oil to minimise skin sensitivity.
Sweet, lemony, and slightly herbal, the aroma of Lemon Myrtle is simultaneously soothing and uplifting to the mood.
Indigenous to Australia, Lemon Myrtle has long been known as an herbal solution. Lemon Myrtle is first and foremost cleansing, but it also promotes feelings of positivity and calm.

For a DIY all-purpose cleaner, add several drops of Lemon Myrtle and Wild Orange to a spray bottle with water and white vinegar.
Diffuse to help clear and purify the air while supporting feelings of wellbeing.
Add 1 drop to your facial cleanser or moisturiser for boosted purifying properties and added fragrance.
