LAUNDRY POWDER

Ingredients

• 1 bar unscented castile soap, grated finely

• 1 cup washing soda

• 1 cup baking soda

• ½ cup coarse sea salt

• ¼ cup citric acid

15 drops of Purify® Refreshing

Blend essential oil

10 drops of White Grapefruit essential oil

Method

Mix all ingredients together. Add a scoop to your wash.

TIP If you remove the castile soap, this can also be used as a dishwashing powder.

DISHWASHER CLEANER

Ingredients

1 cup vinegar

10 drops Lemon essential oil

Sprinkle of bi-carb soda

Method

Mix the vinegar and Lemon essential oil in a dishwasher safe bowl or jug on the top rack of the dishwasher. Sprinkle the bi-carb on the bottom of the dishwasher. Run the dishwasher on the cycle with the most heat.

LEMON & TEA TREE

TOILET FIZZER

Ingredients

• ½ cup baking soda

• ¼ cup citric acid

10 drops Lemon essential oil

5 drops Tea Tree essential oil

10-15 spritz of water from spray bottle

Method

Add all ingredients together in bowl and mix thoroughly. Pack firmly into silicon molds and let dry 12 hours. Once dry, pop out of molds. Store in glass container.

To use, simply drop one into toilet. Once it’s completely finished fizzing, scrub with toilet brush.

OVEN CLEANER

Ingredients

¾ cup baking soda

3 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons On Guard® Cleaner

Concentrate

8 drops Lemon essential oil

White vinegar

Method

Fill glass spray bottle with white vinegar. Place rest of ingredients in a bowl and mix to make a paste. Place the paste on the oven door and leave

for 10 minutes. Spray with the vinegar. It will slightly fizz. Wait another 5 minutes, then wipe clean with a sponge.

SOFT SCRUB FOR BATH, TILES & TOILET

Ingredients

¾ cup baking soda

¼ cup unscented liquid

castile soap

1 tablespoon distilled water

1 tablespoon white vinegar

5-10 drops Lemon essentail oil

Method

In a bowl, combine baking soda and castile soap. Add water and stir. Add vinegar and Lemon essential oil. The consistency should be a soft paste. Store in a airtight container for 2 weeks.

STAINLESS STEEL CLEANER

Ingredients

• ½ cup white vinegar

• 6 drops Lemon essential oil

Method

Fill spray bottle with both ingredients. Spray onto stainless steel appliances and wipe following the grain of the steel.

MULTI-PURPOSE CLEANING SPRAY

Ingredients

1 tablespoon On Guard® Cleaner

Concentrate or castile soap

15 drops Lemon essential oil

7 drops Basil essential oil

½ cup white vinegar

Cooled, boiled water

Method

Mix the Basil and Lemon essential oils with the On Guard® Cleaner

Concentrate in a 500mL glass spray bottle. Top the bottle with the vinegar and the cooled, boiled water. Shake well before each use.

SURFACE CLEANER

Ingredients

1 cup water

• 8 drops On Guard® Protective Blend

Method

Mix all ingredients in spray bottle. Shake bottle each time before use.

FRUIT & VEGETABLE WASH

Ingredients

• 1 cup white vinegar

• 5 drops Lemon essential oil

Method

Fill sink with water and mix in vinegar and Lemon essential oil. Add fruit and vegetables & leave for 5 minutes. Rinse fruit and vegetables.

CLEANING WIPES

Ingredients

• 1 roll premium paper towels

• 2 cups warm water

• 2 tablespoons Fractionated

Coconut Oil

3 drops On Guard® Protective Blend

3 drops Lemon essential oil

2 tablepoons On Guard® Foaming

Hand Wash

Method

Cut roll of towel in half. Place one half of paper towels in an air tight container. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Pour mixture over the paper towel half roll and let absorb. Remove cardboard tube. Pull wipes from the centre when ready.

WINDOW CLEANER

Ingredients:

• 1 cup white vinegar

• 1 cup water

• 10 drops Lemon essential oil

Method

Mix all ingredients in a spray bottle. Spray on glass and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth.

NEPAL DRYER BALLS

Apply two to three drops of dryer-safe essential oil* to each dryer ball. Add one dryer ball to each load of drying laundry to leave your clothes feeling

soft and smelling pure. Including dryer balls can reduce your drying time.

Add all ingredients to a glass bottle and gently shake to combine. Massage into the places that need a little care.

USING YOUR BANKSIA

DIFFUSER POD

This natural diffuser works by soaking up your favourite CPTG® essential oil. Simply fill it with a few drops of your favourite dōTERRA® essential oil or blend, letting it soak in. Repeat 2-3 times for your first use and then repeat as needed.

You can change the fragrance by waiting until the oil you have in it completely dissipates, then you can use whatever other essential oil you would like.

DIY CAR DIFFUSER

Ingredients

• 7-8 wool felt balls

• Thread Ribbon or twine

Citrus Bloom® Springtime Blend

Thread a large sewing needle with enough thread for seven to eight felt balls. Pierce through the center of each wool felt ball until you have enough to make a complete circle. Knot the thread between the connecting wool felt balls to form a circle.

Cut a length of ribbon or twine long enough to fit over your rearview mirror. Thread it through the circle and tie it off at the top. Cut off any excess twine or ribbon.

10 drops Peppermint essential oil

10 drops Tea Tree essential oil

1 teaspoon castile soap

• Cooled, boiled water

Method

Combine all ingredients into a 500mL spray bottle. Spray onto the leaves and stems of plants. Spray on the soil surrounding the plants and garden bed, avoiding the roots. Repeat weekly or as needed to remove pests. Shake well before use.

INSECT REPELLENT

Ingredients

15-20 drops Tea Tree essential oil

• 15-20 drops Peppermint essential oil

• 15-20 drops Eucalyptus essential oil

• 4-5 tablesppons Fractionated Coconut Oil

Method

Combine all ingredients, except the Fractionated Coconut Oil, into a 500mL spray bottle. Add Fractionated Coconut Oil then fill almost to the top with the water and dash of witch hazel. Spray over body every 3 to 4 hours. Shake well before each use.

Fill a 500mL spray bottle 3/4’s full with the apple cider vinegar. Add the rest of the ingredients in the spray bottle. Spray mixture around the home and outside the perimeter to deter flies. Shake well before use.

BUG BITE TREATMENT

Ingredients

• 10mL glass roller bottle

• 5 drops Lavender essential oil

5 drops Tea Tree essential oil

Fractionated Coconut Oil

Method

Put Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils into the glass roller bottle. Top with the fractionated coconut oil. Roll over bites to soothe skin and help with itching as required.

CUCUMBER ME SUMMER

Ingredients

• ¼ cucumber

• 1 basil leaf

• Sparkling water

• Honey or agave nectar

• 1 drop Basil and Lemon essential oils

Fresh cucumber for garnish

Method

In a blender, blend cucumber and basil leaf. Pour blended mix into a glass and top with sparkling water. Drizzle honey or agave nectar, add Lemon and Basil essential oils and stir to mix. Garnish with fresh cucumber.

CRANBERRY LIME SPRITZER

Ingredients

• Cranberry juice

Sparkling water

Ice cubes

4 drops Lime essential oil

Cranberries and lime to garnish

Method

Fill a glass jug 3/4s full with the cranberry juice. Fill the remaining 1/4 with sparkling water. Add the ice cubes and Lime essential oil. Garnish with the cranberries and lime.

SPARKLING ‘T’

• Sparkling water

• Filtered water

• 2 drops Tangerine essential oil

• 1 tablespoon raw sugar

• Ice cubes

• Mint leaves to garnish

Method

Fill a tall glass to 3/4s full with the sparkling water. Top with the filtered water, Tangerine essential oil, raw sugar and ice. Give it a good mix and garnish with the mint leaves.

SORBET ME SPRITZ

Ingredients

2 scoops lemon sorbet

2 scoops raspberry sorbet

Soda water

1 drop Lemon essential oil

1 drop Lime essential oil

Fresh lemon and mint to garnish

Method

Place lemon and raspberry sorbet in glass. Top with the soda water and lemon and lime essential oil. Garnish with the lemon and mint leaves.

BASIL LEMONADE

Ingredients

• 1 drop Basil essential oil

• 5 drops Lemon essential oil

Method

Combine all ingredients and serve very cold. Adjust ratios to taste.

TIP Include 1-2 freshly-squeezed limes to add even more citrus zing.

REFRESHING SUMMER GOODNESS

Ice Cube ingredients

• 1 litre good-quality, filtered, pure water

1 drop Basil essential oil

1 drop Lemon essential oil

2 drops Wild Orange essential oil

Ice Cube Method

Fill a jug with the water. Mix in the Basil, Lemon and Wild Orange essential oils. Pour into ice cube trays until ready to serve. If you like, add one fresh mint leaf into each cube before freezing.

Drink Ingredients

1 litre coconut water

½ litre pure water

Juice of one lemon

Juice of one orange

1 drop Basil essential oil

3 drops Green Mandarin essential oil

2 drops Lemon essential oil

Drink Method

Add all ingredients into a jug and stir well. Once ready to serve, add the ice cubes and relish the bliss of this refreshing summer drink.

TIP For added sweetness, a touch of raw honey or maple syrup can be added. Alternatively, soak 2-3 medjool dates in 1 cup of pure water for 2 hours. Use the soaking water as a part of the liquids in the drink.

CACAO ELIXIR FOR ONE

Ingredients

• 20g ceremonial grade cacao, melted

• 250mL warm water, seed or nut milk

• whole sweetener to taste (e.g. dash of maple syrup or raw, unprocessed honey)

1 drop Star Anise essential oil

Stove Top Method

Place all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over low heat. Heat to a slow simmer, stirring regularly, until the ceremonial cacao is liquified and warmed to your liking.

Using a hand-held blender or whisk, blend until smooth. Pour into small heat-proof earthenware cups or mugs to serve.

Thermal Appliance Method

Place all the ingredients in your thermal appliance bowl. Heat for 8–10 minutes (heat 60ºC, speed 2, low speed until warmed to your liking). Pour into earthenware cups or mugs to serve. Drink with mindfulness of your intentions in your own magical, ceremonial way. Breathe into your grateful heart to fully enjoy this sacred elixir.

TIP Optional inclusions are: pinch cinnamon powder, vanilla essence, cayenne powder, nutmeg powder, tumeric powder.
