But even as you join me in sneering at garish cutesiness, please do take the time to appreciate this week’s header, which was created by one particularly marvelous co-editor by the name of Emily Morrow. Go tell her she did a good job, will you? Unless you’re not into My Little Pony, in which case tell her she did a great job for minimizing the freakishness of this bizarre entertainment phenomenon.

This issue is also proud to host the debut of comics by the magnanimous Caleb Hallead, the campus-renowned Katie Parry, and the daring comedic duo known only as Medi & Kali. We’re thrilled to have them on board.
