RACKGUARD
NETTING SYSTEMS RackGuard netting is a cost-effective, engineered solution designed to make warehouses safer for employees and visitors alike. RackGuard is installed on the back of storage racking to protect aisle ways, work areas and machinery from products that may become dislodged and fall to the ground below. We have three distinct RackGuard product lines, Flushmount, Standard Offset and Standard Offset with Frame Extensions. Each of these product lines come in a variety of sizes and can be utilized to make your industrial racking systems safe to use. RackGuard is an engineered “system� consisting of load-rated netting panels, custom engineered offset brackets, engineered frame extensions (when needed), aircraft cable and related rigging hardware. The netting panels are custom made to size to accurately fit each and every different racking layout. Netting panels that are made-to-measure will provide the safest option for back-of-rack protection. RackGuard netting systems have been designed and tested specifically for industrial racking applications. RackGuard has different netting materials for different load requirements depending on pallet load weights.

RACKGUARD SYSTEMS STANDARD OFFSET RACKGUARD NETTING RackGuard netting systems typically use Engineered offset brackets to run the cables and allow the netting panels to be installed a certain distance from the face of the racking. This allows for pallet/product overhang. Standard offsets have allowance for 4” or 6” settings, but offsets are available in sizes ranging from 2” up to 12”.
FLUSHMOUNT RACKGUARD NETTING These RackGuard netting systems are designed to protect employees from falling product. The netting of these systems sits flush to the racking system, helping to ensure that no product will fall. Ideal for applications where there is no pallet overhang or product is loaded by hand.
RACKGUARD WITH FRAME EXTENSIONS With the emphasis on utilizing as much warehouse space as possible, companies are storing product higher on their racks. In circumstances where the upper load beam is at or near, the top of the rack frame, Engineered frame extensions are available to increase the height of the frame and allow netting protection for products on the upper load beam.

RACKGUARD IS... COST EFFECTIVE
RackGuard systems are more cost-effective than the other options on the market (ie/ steel mesh panels). Not only that, engineering-wise, RackGuard netting systems are designed to absorb energy during a fall, resulting in very low stress (if any) on the racking system itself. Steel mesh, on the other hand, is secured directly to the racking and in the event of a product fall, the load is transferred directly to the racking, potentially damaging the frames.

RackGuard netting panels are treated to meet NFPA 701 standards for fire-retardancy. Netting panels have been tested and rated in accordance with ANSI A10.11, not only individually but as a complete system with all of the hardware installed onto a racking system and tests made to simulate a real-case product fall.

NETTING PANEL
RackGuard netting panels are custom made to fit each and every different application. Our netting panels are fire retardant in accordance with NFPA701. They have been load tested in accordance with ANSI A10.11.
EXTENSION BRACKET
Rack Frame extensions allow systems to extend above the height of the current rack frame heights. Extensions are available from 1 foot up to 6 feet in height.

Falls off of flatbed trucks during loading and unloading operations are on the rise due in part to irregular materials such as steel, pipe, timber, unbalanced loads, and a lack of knowledge regarding Fall Protection Safety within the industry. Companies are responsible to implement effective flatbed safety strategies and fall protection equipment, not only for their employees but for truck drivers who are responsible for load securement/tarping. SLIPPERY WORK SURFACES, LIMITED WALKING SPACE AND IRREGULAR SHAPED LOADS CAN BE THE CAUSE OF A POTENTIAL FALL. STANDARD TRUCK NETTING SYSTEMS
Our Standard Truck Netting System is designed to mount directly to your facilities floor or wall, for both indoor and outdoor applications, and provides a “soft catch� for personnel who may fall during loading/unloading of materials. Netting systems are often custom designed to meet the demands of your facility, while quickly attaching to the bed of the truck, creating a safe working environment. No two applications are exactly the same, which is why we utilize professional engineers and fall protection experts to create a system custom designed for your facility and usage needs.

Fall Protection when and where you need it. Safety has never been simpler. Portable Truck Netting Systems have been professionally engineered to provide exceptional fall protection, while allowing facilities the flexibility to move the system as needed. Typical systems integrate weighted bases with fixed vertical columns, netting is attached with wire rope and custom brackets which attach to the rub rail or stake pocket of the flatbed trailer. Bases have fork pocket holes to assist in moving them into position. Typically used in applications where you don’t want to pour footings to mount posts or you may want to move the system “down the road”. Commonly used outdoors as a tarping/load securement station. 10
PIVOTING TRUCK
NETTING SYSTEMS
Designed to eliminate fall protection concerns, while maximizing space; our Pivoting Truck Netting Systems are ideal for facilities that have multiple use bays, or where customers do not want to connect directly to the flatbed. This simplistic design combines safety with functionality, as it can be operated by a single user and provides a soft catch barrier between personnel and the ground. Our Pivoting Truck Netting System has been engineered to open or close easily, with no additional setup required for the netting panel. Arms fold out from the fixed columns and butt up against the side of the flatbed. No direct connection. Typical conveyor netting systems provide coverage underneath the conveyor as well as up both sides of the conveyor, creating a soft catch in the event of product or component falls. VERTICAL BARRIER
NETTING SYSTEMS As warehouses grow in size, and space is at a premium, more companies are forced to maximize storage of product by using up available “air� space. Bulk stacking of products is becoming more prevalent in industries such as Automotive and Distribution. Stacking product maximizes vertical space but now presents a big safety risk. Bulk stacking does not utilize storage racking. Rather it is simply boxes stacked on top of boxes or storage bins stacked on top of storage bins. Typically these are stacked close to walkways or work areas. In the event that one of these stacks collapses or is knocked over by a forklift, the results can be catastrophic. Engineered vertical barrier netting systems provide protection against this happening by installing such systems along walkways or near workstations where employees are working. Systems are designed based on total height of coverage, weights of each box, tote or pallet that is stacked and total length of coverage. Freestanding or Floor-to-Ceiling posts are designed and Engineered for each specific application.

NETTING SYSTEMS Fall hazards are a Major concern when an opening in the floor is not properly protected. According to Ministry and OHSA/OSHA fall protection regulations, such openings Must be guarded or covered when not in use. SAFETY SYSTEMS Our aluminum safety rail system is designed and engineered specifically for people working at, or near, the leading edge on Industrial Pic-Module applications. This system is an improvement over past cable systems. The aluminum rail system is seamless which makes for smoother transitions for the operator as they navigate along the length of the rail. No end loading ensures easier engineering and installation. End of run support structures typically will not require any additional modifications or support. The lightweight modular design allows for fast, easy installation by our trained and certified installation team. The simple and versatile U-Bolt design easily adapts to all types of racking and allows for simple height adjustments without drilling or modifying the rack frames. The system utilizes a smooth, lightweight aluminum trolley that runs smoothly along the entire run. The trolley allows 100% tie-off for the worker from one end of the module to the opposite end and allows complete, hands-free worker safety when they are entering a bay to retrieve a product from a pallet (thereby putting themselves at a potential risk of fall). These systems help you to be in Compliance when your workers are exposed to working near the leading edge of a mezzanine. User friendly and simple. Don’t put your workers at risk! 18
