11th Guru The 11th Guru is called Guru Granth Sahib. Guru Granth Sahib is a holy book, it is kept in a Gurdwaras and the centre piece is called the Takht which means a throne. It has 1430 pages.

Gurdwara The first Gurdwara was built in Kartarpur, on the banks of Ravi River in the Punjab region by the first Sikh guru, Guru Nanak in the year 1521. It now lies in the Narwol District of west Punjab. The worship centres were built as a place where Sikhs could gather to hear the guru give spiritual discourse and sing religious hymns in the praise of Waheguru. A Sikhism temple can also be called Gurdwara .Sikhism is were they go to the temple to pray. There is a person who reads a special book is called the Garuth. They have this powder that goes on there hands, and they also sit down and pray. Some ladies make food for people who visited to the temple.
