SIDEWALK CAFÉ DESIGN STANDARDS These guidelines are offered in the spirit of encouraging the best possible outcomes for the 16th Street Mall and for individual business owners. This document contains both requirements and suggestions that are highly encouraged in order to enhance the interactive energy and unique experience of the 16th Street Mall. With that in mind, the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District (BID) will oversee adherence to these guidelines. In some special situations, the BID will consider an exception from these requirements if it is found to be of mutual benefit to the individual business owner and the 16th Street Mall as a whole.
