For over a decade until the 2010 period, Preferred Oakland Homes was considered the pre-eminent real estate publication in Oakland County, often containing 176-200 pages of real estate offerings from the leading real estate agents and firms. Now, at the start of 2017, Preferred Oakland Homes will be back serving the market, under the direction of David Hohendorf, the original creator of Preferred Oakland Homes and the founder/publisher of Downtown newsmagazine in the areas of Birmingham/Bloomfield and Rochester/Rochester Hills. Preferred Oakland Homes, published ten months each year, is a reasonably-priced, full-color, enamel (glossy) stock publication, 22,000 of which are distributed to nearly 300 high foot traffic locations county-wide in Oakland. Issues of 68 pages or more will be perfect bound, adding to the elegant presentation of real estate selections. ADVERTISING RATES We offer only full pages in Preferred Oakland Homes, at a price of $650. All rates presented as net rate; no agency commission. Charter advertising rates of $575 a page are being offered to advertisers appearing in both the March and April issues and we will guarantee that rate for one year any time you decide to advertise. Front cover and corresponding page inside an issue, price of $1,200. Agent name, real estate company name and interior page number appear below the photo on front cover. We recommend the front cover package for more expensive homes (minimum $600,000 price). The inside front cover, page three, and inside back cover, add $100 to base price. For the back cover, add $200 to base price. A special discount from normal page rate available for real estate agents who are regular advertisers (minimum of nine times annually) in any edition of Downtown monthly newsmagazine. MECHANICAL DATA Printing: Preferred Oakland Homes is printed web heatset. Cover is produced on 100 pound enamel stock; interior pages 60 pound enamel. Materials: Completed ad must be supplied in electronic form as PDF – CMYK format. Keep live matter three-eights from trim edge top and bottom and one inch from trim edge left and right.
