BIANCA WOLTSCHE CEO & BEAUTY EDITOR

Countless meetings, big mess and lots of ideas led us to this remarkable result. In order to a little idea in January 2014 to make our own little fashion magazine, everything turned into something big. We worked hard every day to get the best out of it. My wish for the first issue has always been to make an amazing beauty series with crazy make-up and accessory but I had to get it out of my head - we were running out of time. Two weeks before our release another chance for my beauty series occurred and we did it in just 1 day! It was chaotic, dramatic and till the morning of the shoot we didn‘t know if everything would work as we wanted it, but you will see. WE DID IT! Before you enjoy our first issue I have to thank Domenic for the great job he has done and I have to tell you, that i really love to work with you! I also want to say thanks to our stylist, that she has exceeded our imagination with the selection of accessoires and clothing. I really hope you‘ll enjoy the first issue!

DOMENIC HARTMANN CEO & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Another big thing. After my latest project with Bianca - „KILL THE BITCH“ I didn‘t really believe that we would start another big thing like this so soon - but here it is „TRASH magazine“! I‘d like to introduce TRASH magazine as an international fashion and beauty magazine which tries to get a little different insight. Not so much to read, focus on images and moods something for your eyes! The first issues will be released online only! You have to know, that it‘s not that easy to start a big magazine in just a few months, but we are planning and working hard for our first print issue, maybe next year! For me, this issue is something very special! I‘ve never worked harder on photos to make it as perfect as possible. We had the possibility to shoot with great designers, worked with an amazing team and I think EVERYBODY did an absolutely wonderful job! Take your time to go through the next pages, enjoy your journey through our little fashion & beauty world and I would love to hear some feedback from you!

RADIANT

ORCHID PANTONE trend color 2014 Radiant Orchid 18-3224 …a harmony of purple, fuchsia and pink undertones. The color of cold blue tones and warm red nuances, fits through the included complementary colors surprisingly well with other shades. In the daily election there are no limits, whether bags, jewelry, pants or coats, the accent is exactly the right choice in 2014.

2014

BEAUTY TRENDS The “out of bed / I don’t care” look doesn’t need much pitching: it’s got an inherent cool factor that’s both attractive and laid back. For the Messy Tousle use your hands and fingers to really touch it up and ensure it sits around your face in a way that flatters you. You can make it more or less messy as you choose, using it to add a bit of grunge or edge to a casual look. The key here is to use the technique of volumising the hair for fullness then using wax on individual sections of hair rather than overdoing the product – the latter will simply weigh it down.

The look for Altuzarra created makeup artist Tom Pecheux and hairstylist Odile Gilbert. The focus on the classic matte lip. The lids were kept simple, applying a Pure White Paint Stick with his fingertips from the lash line to brow bone, and on the outer corners of the eye as a highlight. Hair was scraped back into a low ponytail and secured with a white elastic. Gilbert used a curling iron to add "movement" to the tail and polished everything off with Laque Dentelle hair spray. Chinstrap, stubble, whiskers, face rug... whatever you call it – it’s in. The beard has been growing in popularity since the mid 2000s and now we can see this amazing look on the Michael Bastian runway.

beauty Wild L.A. girl – the inspiration for face painter James Kaliardos. Pinky-nude lip color, V shaped eyeliner, the lashes were coated with Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara, and arches were brushed up with Oural Brow Gel to give them an untamed and „animal-like“ quality. Odile Gilbert created the look by dousing hair with John Frieda Frizz-Ease Curl Reviver Styling Mousse and blow-drying with a round brush to build body. She used a curling iron to set the flip, and added a slight wave to the length. On Chloé runway, hairstylist James Pecis said “This is a woman that‘s done and has healthy, expensive hair.“ For fullness, he misted TIGI Day Thickening Spray from roots to ends and blew hair dry using a paddle brush for smoothness. Befor a flat iron was run through thin sections, he added Extensions for extra body. Par for the course, the make up by Diane Kendal was barely, but beautiful. She applied a light-coverage foundation on the face and the top and lower lash lines were rimmed with MAC Eye Pencil. She added a touch of the sculpting cream in Accentuate to the tops of cheekbones and just above the brows to catch the light. Gucci hair trend for spring/summer 2014 the slicked back hair with side part. Prep the hair by spritzing it with either a salt spray or root lifting product. Dry the sides back away from the face, the front dried up and across, and the back dried straight down flat. Use either a wax, gel or a styling cream that has strong hold and some shine, but run the product through the hair with your hands. Then use your hands and a comb to slick hair back and shape it into place. Finishing the look with hairspray.

beauty

Mark Hampton created with the team from Toni & Guy the ‚sundrenched soldier‘ hair for Vivienne Westwood‘s London Collections. This style is matt and undone with a bit of volume… surf hair, but tougher. Spray Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe Prep Volume Plumping Mousse in your hand, bray it and put it into damp hair. Dry hair unevenly and pluck skeins, what ever. Apply Men Styling Fibre, to differentiate the texture between shiny and matte. Hairstylist Guido Palau fitted models with blond dyed wigs for Marc Jacobs show. The references for the choppy style: surfers, Los Angeles, and kids who cut their own hair. The eyes are where François Nars added the edge, rimming the upper and lower waterlines with either the Eyeliner Pencil in Kalisté or Larger Than Life Eyeliner in Blue Dahlia adding a small “slash” of color to the inner and outer corners to finish. The final touch was “tons” of black mascara. BIANCA WOLTSCHE
