ALEXANDRA BALISOVA Alexandra Balisova is a 23 year-old freelance art director, fashion stylist and photographer from Slovakia. She studied Fashion Styling/Art Direction in London for 3 years. Now she lives and studies Visual Arts in Milano. Her dream is to have her own magazine and concept store in the future. Her work has been published in New Style Magazine, Papercut Magazine, No Cigar Magazine, among others. Alexandra finds inspiration in movies and is interested in storytelling above all. The key elements in her editorials are playfulness and desire to experiment. She tends to be drawn towards the surreal pagan world and physical manifestation of strange magic. ERIC OUAKNINE French photographer based in Paris, Eric Ouaknine possesses a unique style that is red-hot, beyond fashionable and completely original. Mainly shooting fashion editorial and advertising campaigns, Eric began his photography career shooting landscapes, model portfolios and portraits. His exotic ad campaigns and exquisitely styled couture photos are conveyed through his completely original artistic vision. THIS During the creation of this issue, I lost two of the most important persons in my life. One is no longer with us... The other is no longer with me. These two souls now wander through new roads (by different circumstances). Every time we lose an essential piece of our beings, we sit down and take a second (or many) to think about where are we going and question if we are on the right track. It is said that “not all those who wander are lost�. I got to the conclusion that we never cease to wander, but instead, begin different journeys and engage fresh adventures over and over again. “ I am a vivid artist who is always hungry for inspiration, staying alert to blend my experience with visuals and translate it creatively through artwork. Risk-taking, energetic and moving forward passionately among the cultural world with a disease of professionalism. Always trying to achieve my best and push myself to discover innovative forms of illustration, graphic design, moving image and music. In my illustrations, I seek for emotion, I do not only focus on creating visually attractive fashion imagery. This is why the portrait and human expression are one of my main interests. I believe that fashion illustration is a powerful media where many emotions can be transferred with colors and bring out the artist’s personality; that is what I’m constantly trying to achieve and do not limit myself with the medias I use. I love to blend a few images together and tell a story. I let the audience look for a hidden message. Bringing out the hidden emotions that lie within my soul and experience is one of the most important aspects in my self-expression. Delivering the truth and honesty is essential to me. I am inspired by the busy city of London (where I live), people, struggles, artwork (Expressionism, Pop Art), vintage markets and music. I am fascinated by the vivid aspect of life and how does it change, and I want to show my journey through it with creative imagery that is commercial, yet very personal. I truly believe there is still a lot to discover. ”

Adriana Krawcewicz (Poland / London) Adriana graduated in 2009 with a BA in Graphic Design from the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw where she spent three years gaining her strong drawing, painting and print making skills. Currently, she is studying her second year of BA in Fashion Illustration at the London College of Fashion. Her love for fashion made her decide to choose a new path on 2011, and since then, she has officially dedicated her artwork to the field. She has been commissioned and published in magazines like Computer Arts UK, Dash Magazine and Juxtapoz, and has collaborated with London-based fashion designers Mungo Gurney and Lamis Khamis. Adriana works within digital media where she can mix the traditional art techniques. She also creates editorial illustrations and always stays open minded for various kinds of briefs.
