I must say I was a li1le nervous thinking of my pride and joy being tarnished. Regardless of the fact that I never planned to wear it again, or that I wasn’t even sure it would s4ll fit. I pulled the garment bag from way back in my closet and unzipped it. The memories surfaced. Like many, when I tried on this wedding dress, I knew it was the one for me. I have never felt as beau4ful as I did in that dress. So when I slipped it on again for the first 4me in years, I got a taste of that princess-like feeling. What made it more so like a fairytale, was that I befriended a horse, Domino. Just like the one the prince has as he steals you away into the sunset. Domino was so sweet natured and let me pet and feed him. As a plus, I didn’t have any nerves or cold feet to deal with either. I was wearing my cowgirl boots, by Candies, none the less. I was born and raised in Texas, so I’m a li1le ashamed that the only boots I own, aren’t technically authen4c cowgirl boots.. At least they served their purpose for this photo session with my wonderful photographer friend, Teshorn Jackson. I loved the opportunity to take these photographs being very comfortable in my dress. You may think of paint and water when you think of a trash the dress session, but as you brose these photos, just think hay, wheel barrow, old wood, and wildflowers.
