CT’ink is the collective name of the artists Pisa73 and Evol. They are both Berlin based artists and have shown in exhibitions together throughout Europe. CT’ink works in various fields including design, illustration, and street art. They are best known for their complex, highly detailed, multi-layered stencil paintings. Their subjects, as well as their range of materials, show an abiding love for absurdities and the overlooked. Much of their work is created from found objects like old wood, bulky waste, and pieces of cardboard. From this CT’ink transforms other peoples’ trash into artistic treasures with the use of marker, pencil, spray, and industrial paint. Their book A_React is a demonstration of their reactions to the media and their immediate environment. It serves as a social experiment of sorts where one can see the transition from random thought and impulse to how it gives way to Pisa 73 and Evol’s methods of artistic expression.
