CREATING A NEW CATEGORY Belvita was launched in the UK in 2010, creating and leading a new breakfast biscuit category. Dragon Rouge has been with the brand every step of the way from brand identity creation, packaging design and an ambitious NPD pipeline.

DELIVERING A FUTURE-FIT ‘FREE FROM’ BRAND We recently worked alongside Warburtons to create and launch Newburn, a new stand-alone ‘free-from’ brand that combines Warburtons’ baking expertise with the dedicated know how of a specialist free from bakery. The naming and brand identity merges artisan bakery cues with a modern, clean look that heroes the Newburn baker whilst staying close to Warburtons’ heartland.

LAUNCHING A NEW GENERATION OF YOGURT In 2012, Danone saw the opportunity to enhance and strengthen its younger profile with Danio - a range of fat free and low fat yogurts, each on a layer of succulent fruit in six flavours. Against a brief to spearhead a sea change in the yogurt category by being challenging and impactful, we created a bold, young at-heart pack design, uniting a simple aesthetic with strong taste and substance cues.

STANDING OUT IN A CROWDED MARKET We were delighted when Danone approached us to help create a brand of creamy Greek-style yogurts with fruit. The result is Oykos. The deliciously bold, disruptive packaging design stands out on a busy shelf, and communicates luxurious taste and premiumness.

DEVELOPING STANDOUT PACKAGING Nairn’s oat biscuits were going unnoticed on the supermarket shelves, the secret of their deliciousness undiscovered. We helped them to shout loud about the great taste inside every box. We redesigned the packs so each variety could speak up about their strong, rich, scrumptious flavours and compete with rivals in the treat stakes.
