Established in Winnipeg, Canada in 1951, Drake International is a global HR and recruitment agency with a proud heritage of productivity and efficiency expertise. Our leading services have been designed with one purpose – to empower businesses to succeed.
In 1951, founders Bill Pollock and Jim Shore saw a common struggle - businesses grappling with fluctuating workloads. They envisioned a solution that boosted productivity, profitability and employee satisfaction. Their innovative approach was to optimise staffing with minimal workloads and leverage temporary personnel services for peak demands. Fuelled by the early success of this innovative staffing model, Drake International expanded their services in the 1960s to include a permanent placement division. Now based in 11 countries worldwide with a network of over 70 offices, Drake International are known as experts in recruitment. 06. A GUIDE TO THE DRAKE ESSENTIALS
To ensure you have a smooth onboarding at Drake, here are some resources to help you understand more about Drake’s processes and systems.
PRECEDA: PAYROLL
Preceda is our payroll system that employees use to access payslips, review, and submit leave requests, and update personal information. You will be provided access to Preceda after your first pay cycle and will receive your login details via email.
EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT FORM
Drake do not provide company credit cards or petty cash, and instead reimburse expenses on a weekly basis. For expenses to be reimbursed on the Friday, the completed expense form with your managers approval must be sent to accounts payable by COB on the Wednesday.
How to submit an expense reimbursement form:
• Complete the expense reimbursement form and include all relevant information.
• Attach soft copies of the receipts to your email.
• Send email to our Accounts Payable team (aupayable@au.drakeintl.com), CCing in your manager for approval.
LOGGING AN IT REQUEST
Employees can submit an IT request via Drake’s IT Help Desk: Drake Helpdesk Ticketing System (drakeintl.net). To submit your IT request, click the “New” button, enter in all details, and then click “Save” to lodge your request. Once received, our IT team will contact you to resolve the issue.
Please note, you will need to connect to your VPN to access the IT Help Desk if you are working from home.
DRAKE DICTIONARY OF TERMS
As with every company, we do have our own unique vocabulary. Here are a few you might here on a day-to-day basis:
• CATM - Controlled Account Territory Management
• C&I - Call & Interview
• Job Order - A Sale
• Cancelled Order - A cancelled or lost sale
• Rate Enquiry - Enquiry for a sale
DRAKE INSIGHT
Drake Insight (housed on SharePoint) is our company intranet and where all our company documents, policies, and information are stored. Consider Drake Insight as your first point of reference when trying to find any Drake documents. You can use the search bar at the top to filter through the site and find information relevant to you!
ALL STAFF (STARS) DRAKE AU CHAT:
At Drake, we have created an online community via Microsoft Teams to share celebrations, exciting news, and the latest success stories across our teams. You will have access to this chat when you commence with Drake and can post any positive news or celebrations in there.

07. OUR SYSTEMS
At Drake, we have some great systems available to ensure our team members perform at their best!
HOW WE COMMUNICATE
Microsoft Teams is our internal and external communication system. You can use Teams to call and chat with your colleagues. Teams is also used to schedule and attend meetings with your colleagues or external stakeholders.
Microsoft Teams connects with your Outlook, so that you can view and manage your calendar with ease.
OUR CANDIDATE AND CLIENT DATABASE
FT360 is our current ATS system and is an end-to-end recruitment platform. FT360 is our database of candidates and clients, and is used to place candidates in roles, fill job orders, pay candidates, and bill clients.
OUR PAYROLL SYSTEM
Preceda provides employees with access to view payslips and leave amount, log leave requests, and update personal information.
When you start with Drake, our Perm Payroll team will send you your confidential login details. Your Preceda account will become active after your first pay cycle.

Reminder! All leave requests must be logged into Preceda for managers to approve.
DOCUMENT SHARING AT DRAKE
All our intranet sites are built on SharePoint.
Most of our business units have their own branded intranet, which you will use to store, organise, share, and upload files to. You will be given access to Drake Insight (our company-wide intranet), and your business unit’s specific intranet.
OneDrive is our cloud-based storage and file-sharing platform powered by Microsoft. OneDrive allows you to store, access, collaborate and share files. OneDrive is automatically loaded on your PC as part of the Microsoft suite.

When you start with Drake, you will be required to complete the following WorkPro Modules:.

You will receive an email from WorkPro requesting you to complete these as part of your onboarding.
TRAINING OUR TEAMS
The Drake Success Academy (DSA) is a platform designed to support the onboarding of internal Drake Team Members. Based on your role at Drake you will be enrolled in tailored programs that will support your growth and development. The DSA offers blended learning programs that combine self-paced learning with live coaching and mentoring, bringing you strategies for success.
You will receive notification from the Drake Success Academy when training has been assigned.

The DrakeVine is our quarterly internal staff newsletter that keeps staff up to date with all the latest Drake news. The DrakeVine gets sent via email each quarter, and the latest edition can also be accessed on Drake Insight.

Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
In 2023, Drake embarked on its reconciliation journey with a Reflect RAP. This commitment allows us to better serve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients, candidates, and communities, while contributing to broader reconciliation efforts.
Since the launch of our Reflect RAP, we delivered several impactful initiatives across the business. These have included a formalised Acknowledgement of Country at key events, cultural awareness training for all staff, partnerships with First Nations businesses, and the celebration of cultural events.

Market Building Incentive (MBI) Program:
Team based plan. Applicable to Drake Staffing & Government, Medox and all other roles/services lines apart from those who are on an alternative incentive plan. The MBI is paid twice yearly.
Pay for Performance Plan:
Applicable to Client Relationship Managers only. Paid quarterly.
Permanent Placement Compensation Plan:
Applicable to Permanent Recruitment Consultants. Paid quarterly.
Managing Consultant Plan:
