Dr Carolyn Dean

Dr. Carolyn Dean is a nutritionist, acupuncturist, herbalist, naturopath and medical doctor, as well as a renowned medical author. Graduating in 1978 from Dalhousie Medical School, Dr. Dean has over 40 years experience in the medical field. Dr. Dean has specialised in the treatment of magnesium deficiency, which is the subject for one of her most prolific books, The Magnesium Miracle. Dr. Dean was given the ‘Outstanding Medical Contribution to Cardiac Rhythm Management’ award by the Heart Rhythm Society for her work on magnesium deficiency and supplementation and she is currently on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organisation the Nutritional Magnesium Association. Dr. Carolyn Dean has authored and co-authored more than 35 of medical titles, including Death by Modern Medicine, IBS for Dummies and Hormone Imbalance, and she has been working at the forefront of health and wellness for several decades.
