Upper Padre Island Golf Cart Club will have its first rally Saturday, July 9th. the carts will gaher at the POA office at 5pm and caravan north on Whitecap and then go left on Windward Drive to the Holiday Inn. Work is complete on the new boat ramp at the parking lot located between the JFK Causeway and Packery Channel. It is scheduled to be open by July 4. Work will then begin on the second boat ramp located at the south end of the parking lot. The work is part of an ongoing effort to prevent the lot from flooding and will include a bulkhead at the south end. When that work is complete work will begin on a 100 space parking lot.
