I’d like to give you a gift. It is not from me but it is from God. It is salvation! It’s a gift that will last you throughout eternity. It will never grow old. In salvation, there is so much. It is the gift that keeps giving. So please accept this gift that God is offering. I have and millions of others have it. He is offering it to you. God says in His word, “In all thy getting, get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7). So while you are out shopping this season for gifts for loved ones, add to your list salvation. Ask God to save all of those you are giving gifts to. And also ask for understanding and while you are at it Wisdom, too. The Bible says, “Wisdom is the principle thing” (Proverbs 4:7). How I Beat CANCER C A N C E R - Those cold letters do not reign supreme. So many people are afraid of hearing the words “You have cancer”, that they won’t even go to the doctor. There are others who go to the doctor and are caught completely off guard when they receive a diagnosis of cancer. I originally wrote my book How I Beat Cancer because my secretary asked me to write a small pamphlet that she could give to people when she visited cancer clinics. And so I agreed. What started out as a small pamphlet containing words of encouragement and some “how-to” tips to survive cancer, turned into a 46 page book about my personal life and experience with cancer. I am sharing How I Beat Cancer with the world because I want mothers, fathers, grandmothers and even doctors to know that there is a cure for cancer. It’s just that science doesn’t hold the answer. The one who has the awesome cure is God. Scientists are not completely sure what causes cancer. They conduct vigorous research and have increased understanding about the behavior of cancer cells, but a cure is not yet here. I am not a physician and I don’t pretend to tell physicians or scientists what to do. What I do know is God. I know that God speaks the ultimate truth. And once you know that, you realize that you don’t have to know exactly how things go wrong in the body, because God will show you how to be healed, how to be cured of cancer. God cured me of cancer. And I am still so humbled by it. I have so much gratitude to God because a cousin of mine, who was my age, was diagnosed with colon cancer at the same time I was diagnosed. She died and I didn’t. It takes me places you could never understand when I think about how God chose me. How I Beat Cancer is my personal life story and testimony about my battle with cancer with God by my side. The book tells you how to fight cancer with God. I am not knocking chemotherapy or any other modern day treatments. It was not my choice because I believe chemotherapy kills the good with the bad. God was my choice and I am all the more better for it. So when you are undergoing the medical interventions you choose, take this book along and use the spiritual medication that you find within its pages. You will receive the kind of life-saving results you deserve.

Spike Lee’s latest movie is a modern adaptation of a classical Greek play Lysistrata, where the lead character organizes a boycott of sorts. In order to end the Peloponnesian War, Lysistrata encourages the women of Greece to withhold sex from their husbands. It works and the war promptly ends. In Spike Lee’s adaptation, the women of Southside Chicago institute the same boycott in an effort to stop gang violence. I personally am not encouraging anyone to watch the film due to its adult themes but I do want to use the overall theme to point out a spiritual law. How interesting that Spike Lee felt sex could be used as a weapon against the violence in Chicago. I say it is interesting because sex is the door that opened so many communities up to violence and poverty. Specifically, fornication which is sex outside of marriage. I know this is not a popular stance and many churches do not teach about this, but sin has consequences beyond just our personal lives. There’s such a thing as generational curses. The Bible tells us that God visits the iniquity of the “fathers on the sons, and on the sons of sons, to the third and to the fourth generation” (Exodus 34:7). Fornication is a sin and engaging in it perpetually creates consequences for the children that are born into those relationships. Children of single, minority women tend to live disproportionately in communities with high poverty and violence rates. Every day on the news we hear of a young man being killed by police or a foiled terror plot or the discovery of a student’s plan to harm their school mates. For everything that happens in the natural, there is a spiritual root cause. God is too powerful and too intelligent to allow for chaos. I believe that much of what is happening in the world can be traced back to sin, plain and simple. And this generation is bearing the consequences of decades of sin and displeasing God.
But the entrance of God’s Word brings light! Now that we know about generational curses, we can break them. First, give your life to Christ and commit to living the way God wants us to live. Listen, not many people confess Jesus and wake up the next day able to give up every sin in their life on the spot. God walks us at a pace we can handle. The closer we get to Him, the easier it is to give up the ways and thoughts that are detrimental to our happiness. I implore all Christians out there to decide that fornication is wrong. Even if you are doing it, make the mental decision that you believe it is wrong and a sin. Once you make the decision, your actions will follow. This is so important because we must teach our children that marriage is God’s will and His only platform for sex. Anything outside of that is sin and it will cause so many problems in our lives, their lives and generations to come.
It is through the power of the cross that we can confess every curse broken, including generational ones. We must renounce the sin that caused the curse. That is the hope we have in Jesus Christ. While the politicians and protesters are looking in the natural for the cause of various issues in our country right now, I challenge some of you to go into the spirit and look for the spiritual root of our nation’s problems. And then. . .pray. And pray some more. And keep praying until God moves and makes a change for us. Pray God’s choice into the White House. Pray over the police forces in this country. Pray for the TSA and Homeland Security that they would be men and women that are submitted to God and have discernment that will help them protect this country. Pray without ceasing!

Entertainer Natalie Cole passed away over the New Year‘s holiday weekend. I felt a tinge of sadness as I read the story online. I saw that she had given an interview shortly after her kidney transplant. It turns out that her oldest sister passed away the day of the surgery. And of course, she received the kidney from a young girl who had recently died. She met a nurse, chance encounter, and that nurse had a family member with a sick daughter who when she died, the nurse begged them to give the kidney to Natalie Cole.
In the interview, Natalie Cole stated that she felt guilty for being alive when these two people had to die but then she realized that she was still here for a reason and it was a decision that God had made. That’s when I no longer felt sadness. Initially I thought it was sad because I knew of her struggles with addiction and a turbulent childhood. In my humanity I thought it would have been great for her to live until she was 80! But the old adage is true, quality is better than quantity anytime. In the time she lived after that transplant, she made the most of each day, she said. She felt there was purpose in her life because God kept her here despite the drug addiction, despite the hepatitis, and the kidney failure. All these things that could have killed her or stopped her from using her talent, but they did not. For me, she left me with a message of hope. No matter what you may be caught up in right now, if you just ask God to show you His purpose for you, He will walk you right out of that situation. If it is alcoholism, drug addiction, abusive relationships or even 4 I Red Wine
poverty. Don’t get caught up on what you did but instead look to God for what you can do from now on. Natalie Cole needed a kidney and she got it. When God has a purpose for you, He will make a way out for you. And in case you are wondering, I can tell you that God does have a purpose for you. Jesus is the Door, He is the Way out of every dark situation. You can be free today.

The world is full of similar examples. Andre Crouch was one of the most prolific song writers of our time but he was dyslexic, so much so that he often had to draw pictures instead of writing the word. Wilma Rudolph was known as the fastest woman in the world throughout the 1960’s but she had childhood polio that twisted her legs. Going back a bit further, Moses also had a speech impediment (Exodus 4:10). Can you imagine? You have to go before Pharaoh and lead a nation of people out of bondage, all while declaring that what you are saying is coming from God but you also have a speech impediment! Sometimes we put imaginary limitations on ourselves but other times there is a real, tangible limitation. Or is it? I know the doctors say you will be limited because of some physical condition. And I know that people will think you are limited because you have to get things done in a different way from everyone else. But what does God say about these so-called limitations? Well, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).
Jesus Himself tells us that with GOD ALL THINGS ARE
POSSIBLE (Matthew 19:26).
Is there anything too hard for God (Jeremiah 32:27)? Absolutely not! The only real limitation you have is not doing what you are called to do. If you don’t step out and start doing it, you do not allow God to show you what He put inside of you. You miss the opportunity to see that God’s Word on a matter overrides everything else, even your physical body. If God wants you to run, He will equip twisted legs to run fast. If He wants you to speak for Him before nations, He will cause your tongue to straighten. If He wants you to write songs of worship to Him, He’ll teach your brain to write in pictures instead of words.
Limitless
James Earl Jones stuttered for a big portion of his young life. But now he has one of the most respected and recognized voices in the world. In an interview he stated that he overcame his stutter through poetry reading and acting. He took on the challenge to do things that he was seemingly not equipped to do.

You were made by a limitless God to serve Him so that means through Him you are limitless. There is nothing within His divine will that you cannot do; no matter what the world says you are not capable of doing. When GOD Has A

Edith Hahn Beer was a Jewish woman who survived the Holocaust by hiding her Jewish identity and marrying a Nazi officer. Even after she told her husband the truth about who she was, instead of turning her in, he hid the secret out of love for her and stayed married to her through the end of the war. It was a Christian friend, Christa Beran, that gave Edith her identity papers allowing her to legally take on her identity in order not to be deported to Poland. Instead she was able to travel to Munich and serve as a nurse in the Red Cross while being married to a Nazi officer. Her story fascinates me because I see God so plainly in her life. Imagine being considered an enemy of a nation and you somehow find a man to marry you and hide your secret to protect your life. Only God can touch someone’s heart to protect you when they are supposed to destroy you. God truly is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. So many only think of money when we say this but God provides so much more. He gives us favor when we need it, He gives us healing, hope, love; whatever your situation requires, God can make the provision. He knows what you need when you don’t.

Be encouraged today if you are facing a tough situation. Remember that God touched the heart of a Nazi soldier to marry a Jewish woman and keep her secret. So that same God can pay your rent, save your children, give you a job, and heal your body. Jeremiah 29:11 says,
“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” God had a plan for Edith’s life. His plan was not for her to die in a concentration camp before she was 40 but instead she lived to be 95 years old! You have to know that God has plans for you and good plans. Plans to bless you and prosper you. God wants to give you a future full of hope and He will make every provision to make sure you get that future. You must just trust Him and believe. Believe even when everything seems the opposite of hopeful. Believe when no else does. Just keep believing in the Lord and His plans for your life.

RAPTURE
ME LORD!
We all need Jesus.
The Bible says all have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). None of us is perfect and we have said that to each other many times throughout life. But the hour is near and I am not saying that because of the terror attacks or because of ISIS. I will not walk in fear of these things nor will I let it alter my travel plans. But what I will walk in is wisdom, knowledge and revelation. And I encourage you to walk in them too. These things were already spoken about. God already told us these things were going to happen in the Bible, the love letter He gave to us. The Bible has been around a long time, longer than the newspapers, before 9/11 and even before ISIS. The rapture is coming and if you have not been studying the Word of God or going to church or listening to preachers on TV, you need to. The Bible says people perish for a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). You don’t want to perish because you didn’t have the knowledge God gives us freely every day. He doesn’t want us to be like the world. He saved us on purpose.

I was reading today in Isaiah 12:3-4,
“With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. And you will say in that day:
GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD,
CALL ON HIS NAME;
make known his deeds among the nations; proclaim that his name is exalted.” God’s name should be exalted in your household and over all that you have. He has wells of salvation. So no matter where you are in your life, what you have gained or lost, you cannot save yourself, my friend. There is something you need right now, that I don’t know about. But because you are a human being, you need Jesus because you will face something for which you will need Him. It may be your health, your finances, or your marriage. You need stability and you need salvation. After you live life on this earth, you will need to go somewhere. Your body is going to go into the grave but the real you, a spirit, goes back to God. That is why we say so-and-so is with God because we don’t believe they are in the ground, their body is there but the rest of them has gone to God. God has a place for people who have accepted Him into their lives, confessed Him and asked Him to walk with them. Those people are called His children and I hope you are counted among them. Now you may be reading this and are not saved. I encourage you to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior because God told me the rapture is coming. And this was not the first time He told me this. The rapture is near so it could be any moment now. Read 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and ask God to give you the understanding of it. If you are saved, make sure your standing is right with God. Ask God to forgive you and wash you from all unrighteousness and renew a right spirit in you. For those of you who are just reading this because a friend asked you to, ask God to bless your friend because this is you salvation moment right now. There is a door before you. You need to ask God to save you. You need to ask how to get saved. Ask your friend. They should know it is through confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
The rapture is coming. There is a movie that really displays what the rapture will be like called Left Behind by Kirk Cameron. Get that video and look at it. It shows what’s going to happen. People are literally going to disappear. It won’t be abnormal to you in the sense of you recently heard how a plane disappeared and they cannot find it. I believe that the rapture is happening and God will start disappearing people. People will freak out and offer all kinds of commentary on what happened because that is what humans do. But God is going to take people to His home. The Bible says that the dead in Christ will be the first to go (1 Thessalonians 4:16). How will you know? Will you be hanging out in the graveyard? No. But they will disappear from under the soil out there. And then those of us who are the church of God will go missing, being caught up in the clouds with Him. So that means I can be sitting here talking to you and then suddenly be caught up in the clouds. I want this to happen to you. Firstly so you can be with Him and secondly so we can escape all the horror the man of sin (2 Thessalonians 2:3) will bring and satanic turmoil, terrorism and such that’s getting ready to escalate in the world. You don’t want to be here and you don’t want your family here. Trust me.

The news events of today only confirm that it is close. It is here now y’all. Ask God to rapture you but first save you so you can be raptured. Take a look at your life. You know your life needs to be changed. You are not perfect. Even if you feel you are a good person, God said all of our righteousness is as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). So we need to be saved in order to be with Him. If you don’t want to go to hell, but instead go meet the One who made you, you need to be saved. I am sorry to be so point-on with this message but it is urgent. God never lies, He is not a man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent (Numbers 23:19). He loves! This is His way of loving us and protecting us from the doom that will hit this world. We’ll be caught up with Him, that is His children, Christians. Everyone else will be left behind to face the suffering in the world. I don’t want you to suffer. I love you because of the love of Christ in me. God wants to redeem you. That’s is the word He just said. Please let Him. Let God show you how much He really loves you. I know there are a lot of things you don’t understand. I hear people all the time worried about the babies dying. Trust me, God made those babies. He knows what He is doing. HE HAS SOME BIG WORDS FOR YOU BECAUSE HE IS A BIG GOD.
If you know someone who always engages in small talk, you will get where I am going. You’ve heard people on the streets say some mean, not-so-nice things. You probably also know a family member who is always saying stuff they never do. Or you go to meetings and the boss talks about stuff they never deliver on. Or we engage in small talk when we are waiting in line or at the doctor’s office. But if you have ever had the opportunity to hear someone say something big and actually do it, that is refreshing. It is great to see that someone can do something that seems almost impossible. You were something that was on the level of impossible. In fact, you became who you are because of Someone with big words. Power-packed works that make things come true like you! I wrote an article entitled “Rapture Me Lord” which I think is both thrilling and powerful. He is saying that He has the capability to extract people out of the world without them dying. A lot of people are fascinated with sci-fi. There are a lot of fantasy shows of things people wish could happen. Like Beauty and the Beast. This soldier was experimented on by the government and
they made him part man-part beast. He could do all of these things humans can’t do like jump off a tall building and land on his feet. Then there’s the Avengers and such, all having super powers. When I was growing up we had movies like Dracula, who was evil because he used control. We are not supposed to control someone’s will. Even God gives us free will.
God can control the elements because
HE CREATED THEM.

FOR A BIG GOD.
So in all those shows about the supernatural, you are really looking for God when you DVR them. You are fascinated by those things because the supernatural does exist. It exist in God because that is the place we are supposed to experience the supernatural by God. 13 I Red Wine
You can trust Him, too. He has big words in the Bible and most of them have come true. Now there are some things that are still to come like the rapture. But I believe they are happening. Look at Moses. God uses a man who was running from Pharaoh. He sent him back to Egypt to save a whole nation called Israel.
Inside of you are wells of possibilities. You just have to find the One who can lead you to those wells like a metal detector that people used to find gold. Let God be your metal detector. You need Him to find what is inside of you in these areas that no one can tell you about.
Remember Moses stretched out his staff and the power of God opened the Red Sea. Remember how He rained down manna, angel’s food, and He fed the people with that. Their clothes and shoes didn’t wear-out. Only God can do these things. Those sci-fi shows on TV don’t exist, they are in the mind of someone, but these things really happened. God has Big Words because He is a Big God.
He has some big words for you because He is a Big God. There are some big things inside of you, He put them there. Let Him help you find them and excavate in you. Go running, looking to Him. Have a picnic with Him. Go spend the night in a hotel with God, no TV, phone or radio. Just talk to God. You might fall asleep but if your intentions were to be there with Him, He knows how to walk up in your dreams and start talking to you.
1 Corinthians 10:26 says, “for the earth and its fullness are the Lord’s.” David said it too in Psalm 24:1 says,

“The earth is the
LORD’S
and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it.” It belongs to Him. Whatever God says, He will say it over again. He doesn’t want to stay hidden; He wants to reveal Himself to us. That is why He sent His Son to the earth. He wanted to show us His salvation. He wanted us to experience Him so He came in the flesh to show us who He is to this day. If you have a situation you haven’t found the answer to, the answer is with the One who has the big words. He is a big God. He is not man-made from stone or rock or some other material. Why would you want to serve a “god” that was made by you? Or even an animal? Who made the animal? Cows and other things are not gods. They are not holy, God is holy. He is so much God that you cannot even find Him, He is invisible. People would try to kill Him. But He is so much God, He can be everywhere at all times. He is right there with you. You may think you want to see God, so just ask Him to reveal Himself. And don’t do it today because it just seems right. No, you have to want to see Him and feel Him truly. I have felt the presence of God in my room, so strong you could feel it. He is a gentleman, a friend and loving God. He will lead you and tell you things when nobody else has the answer. I am proud to be His daughter and His friend. I am the publisher of Red Wine Magazine but I did not create it, God did. I did not know I would be writing a magazine. God gave me the name.

How can you not love someone who can walk into your dreams and continue a conversation with you? Like the commercial says, "Awesome sauce!” Go on a date with God. Make Him your Father. Start a friendship with Him today. It doesn’t matter your parent’s religion. We are talking about relationship not religion anyway. And if you do this and really want to be friends with God, you will be in that rapture. And you will see me one day, even if you don’t see me right now.
