Note We are looking at a strange time now. In fact, there is unrest and uneasiness about new laws that just came into effect in this country. So many people are worried about how this will affect them and their family. I want to say that this is a time to pray like never before, pray about everything. Your family, your life, what’s happening in the world and for others most importantly. We are getting ready to release “The Prophetic Portal” on the website. We want you to come and see what God is saying to the Body of Christ. He will always make you aware of what is about to happen. He does not hide from those who want to know what is going on. In fact, He said He would reveal His secrets to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7). If you are a person who ministers to God and to His people for His glory, He will reveal it to you. Please pray for Red Wine Magazine. We are still evolving! We need your prayer and support. Soon, you will see a new way you can support us financially as we go forth in His holy, precious and matchless Name. I love you and am so happy to be apart of this. We would love your ideas and suggestions. We love you and think you are awesome!!! God Bless! Dr. Diana

The Cold Letters CANCER C A N C E R - Those cold letters do not reign supreme. So many people are afraid of hearing the words “You have cancer”, that they won’t even go to the doctor. There are others who go to the doctor and are caught completely off guard when they receive a diagnosis of cancer. I originally wrote my book How I Beat Cancer because my secretary asked me to write a small pamphlet that she could give to people when she visited cancer clinics. And so I agreed. What started out as a small pamphlet containing words of encouragement and some “how-to” tips to survive cancer, turned into a 46 page book about my personal life and experience with cancer. I am sharing How I Beat Cancer with the world because I want mothers, fathers, grandmothers and even doctors to know that there is a cure for cancer. It’s just that science doesn’t hold the answer. The one who has the awesome cure is God. Scientists are not completely sure what causes cancer. They conduct vigorous research and have increased understanding about the behavior of cancer cells, but a cure is not yet here. I am not a physician and I don’t pretend to tell physicians or scientists what to do. What I do know is God. I know that God speaks the ultimate truth. And once you know that, you realize that you don’t have to know exactly how things go wrong in the body, because God will show you how to be healed, how to be cured of cancer. God cured me of cancer. And I am still so humbled by it. I have so much gratitude to God because a cousin of mine, who was my age, was diagnosed with colon cancer at the same time I was diagnosed. She died and I didn’t. It takes me places you could never understand when I think about how God chose me. How I Beat Cancer is my personal life story and testimony about my battle with cancer with God by my side. The book tells you how to fight cancer with God. I am not knocking chemotherapy or any other modern day treatments. It was not my choice because I believe chemotherapy kills the good with the bad. God was my choice and I am all the more better for it. So when you are undergoing the medical interventions you choose, take this book along and use the spiritual medication that you find within its pages. You will receive the kind of life-saving results you deserve.

The Bible warns us about being tossed around or swept away with every doctrine or teaching that we hear (Ephesians 4:14; Hebrews 13:9).

In the wake of the tragic Charleston
church shooting, there has been a move to ban the use and sale of the Confederate flag. While I have no real opinion on the use of the flag by individuals, I think we do need to consider the culture that has created this campaign. The flag ban was quickly followed by a call to remove statues of long dead pro-slavery political figures from various places around the country. And who knows what will be next. The internet is aflutter about a possible ban of “Gone with the Wind.” Two weeks ago, having a Confederate flag was a personal choice. Now in response to a tragedy, a personal choice has become a national issue. It makes me wonder if all of this is not just misplaced grief. A stumbling attempt to emotionally and mentally reconcile a senseless tragedy in our country. The past shapes us and the same is true for any country or group of people. It is important to know our history, no matter how painful because not knowing it can
God inspired
men to write the Bible and share important moments in history, some very painful.
But God intended for us to understand the mistakes of the past in hopes to help future generations not make the same mistakes. Many Israelites died in the exile and families were torn apart. They had to be scattered among people that didn’t even believe in God.
doom us to repeat it. While having a Confederate flag in your truck may be someday outlawed, my concern is more about trying to remove it from history. And what about the whole generation that died in the wilderness never making it to the Promised Land? But these moments in history are told over and over, even today to teach people about God and how to serve Him. Today we live in a culture where people just think they can delete a mistake or an event if it becomes too much too deal with. People spew anger and then delete the tweet or close down their Facebook page. People file for divorce at the first sign of the slightest conflict. People today find it much easier to change jobs, friends, and addresses not for any real reason other than they feel bored or overwhelmed.
the real change in this country will only come when people change the way they think about not race per say but just their fellow human being. We must realize that God made us all different not to antagonize each other but to complement each other. All humans, past, present and future, share the commonality of being made by God Himself and we all share the desire to be loved and cared about.
Jesus commanded
us to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:39). If we can look at each person we see and just remind ourselves of how we are the same instead of focusing on how we are different, I believe we can experience the restoration we need all over the world.
The Bible warns us about being tossed around or swept away with every doctrine or teaching that we hear (Ephesians 4:14; Hebrews 13:9). This situation reminds me of this as the Confederate flag has nothing to do with race relations in America and 3 weeks ago no one cared enough to say anything about it. But now it is a full blown political agenda snowballing into statues and movies. And again, none of these things has anything to do with race relations in America. Often when we want to make changes we start in the wrong place. When we decide to go on a diet we clean out the fridge and the pantry. We get rid of the things we can see but if we don’t change the way we think, we will fail at the diet. When the thoughts don’t change the root of the problem remains. All of this taking down flags and statues is just trying to remove what we can see but

The Man And HIS
LIPSTICK MEN HAVE ALWAYS ADMIRED THE BEAUTY OF WOMEN.
They celebrate and even embrace it and surround themselves with it. Husbands buy their wives beautiful lingerie or a nice hand bag or a gift card for makeup. These are common occurrences. And we women take pleasure in men admiring and loving us. We all have our own lane to walk in. It is empowering to have a sense of self-importance. That’s what having your own lane does for you.

In the 21st century, things have changed and what was once right side up has seemed to go 180 degrees and is upside down. I know we don’t see it like that but take a step back and you will see how much the world has changed. When I was growing up you could watch regular TV with that antenna in the back. But then cable came along and opened us up to a whole new world. We went from cable to satellite TV. And now we are in
the digital age. If you don’t have a certain type of television today, you won’t be able to watch. So the world is very different. Now we have men coming out of a room, not even the closet anymore. Coming out of the closet as merely saying I don’t prefer women, I really prefer men. No, now the closet has become a room. Now is that they are a woman trapped in a man’s body. So don’t be surprised when you see me at the makeup counter at
Neiman Marcus or Saks. You may think I am buying this makeup for my wife but I am not. This vibrant, red lipstick is not for anyone else but me. I am the woman. See me. Hear me. The man and his lipstick, that is what we are dealing with today. Men on magazine covers with bold statements that they are a woman and transforming themselves to look like a woman. What upsets me and many others is that we feel men are out of
MEN NOW HAVE MADE GREAT
STRIDES
and are now transforming themselves by saying they hid they’re real selves from us. As women we have struggled in relationships with men throughout time. I for one always believed men don’t tell what they are feeling inside. As women we are emotional creatures that wear their emotions on their sleeves. But if you survey 100 women, most will say that they don’t believe men tell the truth about what they are feeling. And when they say one thing, they really mean something else.
5 I Red Wine
place wearing lipstick. They have crossed over into our lane. So many had a problem with women’s liberation in the 60’s. It was felt that women were trying to be like men and take their jobs. But now men are trying to be like women. And they are putting their manhood down and trying to pick up womanhood and all of its complexities. It is sort of a mockery to me. I know some will be upset by what I am saying. But God made a man a man for a reason and vice versa. A woman was made to be a help meet to a man and the man was made to be a covering for the woman and treat her with respect. Now the lanes have blended and confusion has set in over both.
Him for the problem because ultimately He is the only one who can fix your situation.
REMEMBER TO LOVE EVERYONE
despite who they say they are or how they feel.
I for one feel offended at the idea that God has made a mistake with any human being because of my passion and deep friendship with God. God has pulled me out of confusion, brightened my life and stabilized me. He has strengthened and healed me and given me financial and emotional support. And now God is developing my children. That is the God I know. How can someone come into my backyard and say that God is confused and creates damaged people. I think that is the biggest lie and misconception. It is something else, not God, that makes someone feel like a women when they have male genitals, muscles, and an abundance of testosterone. They do not have a vagina, they never had a monthly cycle or gone through grueling menopause, or have the natural hormones of a woman.
GOD COMMANDED US TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER
Let’s not bash one another but instead love one another in truth and in spirit. The man and his lipstick. That is a problem that needs to be discussed. Let’s put it on the table and have table talk about this. I am calling all the teachers and preachers who are willing to talk about it. Let us reason together (Isaiah 1:18).
Now I love everybody, even these men who think they are women. What I want to say to them is that if someone told you God is not deeply in love with you, well He is. Please don’t blame God for your fixation. He did not make any mistake in designing you. You were created to be a man. Whatever your lifestyle, it is never God’s fault. We have to look at other things that could have caused this to manifest in your life. Because at the end of the day, it is going to be God that you will have to go to, to bring you together. So we don’t want to blame

What kind of love are you on? That’s a good question because love is a major part of our lives. We all want to be loved all the way from infancy to old age. Babies want to be picked up and hear sounds of love and laughter just as much as when we are teenagers needing a stronger kind of love (If you know what I mean. LOL.) Love is a powerful emotion that influences people in positive and negative ways.
24:12). The only way to understand what God means by that, is to have a conversation with God about it. Ask Him what that means and He will reveal it to you in a way that helps you understand it. Now in the same turn, it doesn’t get any better than the God kind of love (agape). God’s love is perfect, that’s why I draw a contrast between the two. If you need a sustained, eternal love that never goes away, you can only get that from God. That kind of nourishment only comes directly from God. It is so potent, vast and exhilarating that I don’t believe a human being can clearly describe it. And don’t think that God’s love only resembles a parental type of love. Oh no! It is so different than
What Kind of
Love
Are You On? To me, there are two kinds of love. There’s human love and there is divine love (God love). Agape means the kind of God love. Human love is something that has not been clearly defined but we do know it is imperfect. Sometimes, as human beings, when we love someone, we can act it out in a strange way. Like when people utter the words, “I love you”, but mistreat you or are somewhat overbearing with their love. God says the world has something He calls “cold love” (Matthew

anything you will ever experience. John 3:16 tells us that “God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life”. The eternal experience that He is talking about is with Him, in His presence in the Kingdom of God which is gorgeous. I can say with first hand knowledge what it is like to feel God’s love. It has staying power, is always present and never decreases. All you need to do to feel His love is stay in His 7 I Red Wine
Love
IS A POWERFUL EMOTION that INFLUENCES people in POSITIVE and NEGATIVE ways presence. You have the sheer joy of getting to know each other, then trust starts to build and soon your life is exploding with divine favor and everything you always desired starts to manifest in your life. You may be thinking, “What do you mean getting to know each other?” Well it is one thing for someone to know your name and where you reside, (much like your neighbor) but you can avoid and hide from that person. You don’t talk to them about your personal struggles and concerns. You don’t open up your heart in a passionate way. From my perspective getting to know God is like a woman when she has a best friend. They get on the phone and laugh and share things they wouldn’t tell anybody else. That’s how you should be with God. It should be so easy to talk to Him. In fact, you should get excited about visiting with Him and telling everything about what is going on in your life. Is it easy to talk to someone who is invisible? No but as you talk to Him, you will begin to feel a change in the atmosphere and as you open up and be honest about your life God will begin to help make it easier so that you and He can have a real talk. You can feel free to air out what you need to and leave all your burdens right there with Him. Find a place in your home where you and Him can just talk. Select that as your spot. You can talk to God in other places like your car or whatever but also have a special area where you go to talk to God and tell Him about what is on your 8 I Red Wine
heart. Where you ask Him to work on areas of your life. Your thinking, your diet, what you are afraid of, and just everything. If you talk to God on a daily basis, He will eradicate these things from your life because that is the kind of God He is. In the same way, He will bring out the beautiful things in you. I am talking about great things that you never knew existed in you. He will be your gardener and you are His beautiful tree. He will help you look and feel your best. And you will hear things from God that make you feel so wonderful. When there are things you can’t do anything about, God will do it for you. He will take care of bullies on your job, heal your marriage. Everything needs to go to Him, talk to Him about it on a daily basis. His love, oh my goodness, is perfect. It never changes or dies. Human love does. It changes and it can become cold. You can feel its absence even when they say they love you. Human beings are not perfect. God perfects areas in us as we have a relationship with God. The more you have a working relationship with God, YOU WILL change and mold into a better person that lives better and treats people better. Dr. Diana

Flipping through the channels for the weather, I got stuck watching one of my guilty pleasures: The Andy Griffith Show. In this episode, Opie gets beat in football and punched in the eye by Helen’s niece Cynthia. Subsequently, Helen beats Andy at bowling. This sets off a chain reaction because the males feel they were taken off guard by the females. Opie said he missed the ball due to interference and Andy loss at bowling because he had to use rental shoes. But what caught my attention was a conversation Helen had with Cynthia. The young girl asked Helen why boys are such sore losers. And Helen said that somehow in their design men need to win and excel, especially in sports, because it re-affirms their position as the provider. You need strength to provide, right?
MODERN NOT SO
WOMAN
10 I Red Wine
Helen said this with a knowing smile as she realized there is value in letting men win and in letting them see you vulnerable. So Cynthia went the next day and asked Opie to help her roller skate even though she could clearly figure it out for herself. And Helen let Andy win that next game of bowling. TV shows today would never present this message in a positive way like this. They would possibly let the men win but somehow relate in the script that men are still inferior. But I thought this was powerful. Helen taught a young girl how to respect the male’s role in this world not only in her words but in her own behavior. We have confused submission with weakness. But in order to submit, one must make a decision to do so. If you are weak, you don’t decide to submit, but are merely overtaken. There is nothing wrong with a woman submitting to male authority in her life. As women we must learn to respect and honor the fact that God made man first and we came out of man. In God’s eyesight, men hold a place of authority in the household. They are the covering for a family. Adam named the animals. God revealed Himself to Adam first. And God clearly tells us that women must submit to their husbands. There is no weakness in honoring men through honoring God’s Word. I understand that in today’s world we see a lot of absentee fathers who have difficulty even maintaining jobs to help support their children. We see divorce tearing families apart. More and more men are opting for same-sex relationships, even after years of marriage to a woman. And the temptation to cheat is exponential with all the social networks out there. And women have responded by being mistrustful and disregarding men’s God-given position as a means to try and protect themselves from being hurt. But the real protection comes in living and loving according to God’s Word. The Bible tells us to guard our hearts because everything we do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23). Every relationship you enter exposes your heart to that person, their friends, and their family. And one can
say it’s just for the sex, but you cannot lay with another human being in an intimacy that was made for marriage and not have your heart affected somehow. So we carry these people, the good and the bad, with us in our hearts in some way. We are influenced by them in ways we don’t even understand. That is why God never intended for us to date legions of people and definitely not to have sexual relations with numerous people. These things scar our heart in invisible ways that can be seen in our emotional development. And is reflected in our efforts to disregard men’s God-given role in the world out of fear of rejection. A woman can be strong, successful and pursue her divine purpose all while respecting a man’s place in this world. A wife can be all the above and still submit to her husband. It doesn't matter what society says, it matters what God says. When your marriage faces trouble, and it will just because that’s life, a submitted woman can go to God and He will fix her marriage. A woman who struggles to control and out talk her husband will need to learn about submission in the hopes of bringing healing into her marriage. Submission is not weakness because submission takes a choice. Make the right choice so you can find peace and divine order in your life.
The Bible tells us to

Jesus also said He wouldn’t drink of the vine until that day when He drinks it anew with us at the marriage of the Lamb (Matthew 26:29). So Jesus Himself will enjoy a glass of wine. But for now He is pouring out a spiritual wine that is locked up in God’s Word. The Bible is the logos but there is also rhema which is when God speaks to us whether audible or in your spirit, and you just know something very strongstrongly. God has many ways of speaking and getting information to you.

God realized thousands of years ago how important wine was and so He uses it in many demonstrations in the Bible. He refers to His Word as new wine, which is the inspiration for Red Wine Magazine (Matthew 9:14-17).

Here in my local grocery store in Texas, I was told by someone I know that there are $1000 bottles of wine just in the grocery store. They have them stored in a certain area but they are there for sale. Just goes to show how important wine is to people now a days. Enjoying a nice glass of wine, if that is what you prefer, is great. However, a $15 glass of wine is not important or essential. You get the nice taste of it and then it’s gone once you swallow it.
R ger F n i
has great influence over the world today. People drink red wine with meals and seal business deals over a glass of wine. People even enjoy long conversations with each other while sharing a bottle of wine. And some people drink wine to relax. It has become so popular that wine vineyards have grown tremendously. People go to vineyards to visit and tour them now on a regular basis. You have bottles of wine that cost thousands of dollars. I am flabbergasted at why someone would pay $20000 for a bottle of wine.
When He gives you the
solution to a current problem, that is new wine. When He gives you
wisdom
that you need for your life, that is the new wine. This kind of wine enhances and develops us. It supports you. After all we are creative beings so we have to grow spiritually as well as physically. We should never stop growing. The “new wine” helps to grow and develop us into that God-child He made us to be. So when you give your life to the Lord by inviting Him into your heart and your life, allowing Him to become a part of your everyday life, you will become His sons and daughters. Suddenly you will understand why it is important to start reading and studying the Word of God. And things you need like healing will manifest. In His word He tells us how important faith is. Faith, from my perspective, is a type of wine. It is something that you could not find here in this world. God had to give it to you and He gave every one the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Now you can take your faith and use it however you want to. And as human beings, we do. We believe in whatever we want to believe in, let’s be honest. Whether you believe in God’s way or the world’s way, it is your choice but there will be ramifications if you make the wrong choice. If you choose things that are unreliable, then your life is going to be full of turmoil and things you cannot control. You won’t know what each day will bring and that’s because you put your faith in the things of the world and in people instead of in God, the One who stabilizes everything. If you need healing in your body and the doctor says he doesn’t even know what is wrong with you let alone how to cure it or that you have an incurable condition, it’s because they don’t have the answer. It is because God has not released the information and knowledge in this world yet but God knows how to cure it. In fact
13 I Red Wine
God had to give it to you and HE GAVE every one the
MEASURE OF FAITH (Romans 12:3).
the blood of Jesus can cure it. If you would just take your faith and put it in God and read the promises of healing that He has already written about in His love letter called the Bible, then YOU WILL BE HEALED!. You just have to believe it. You have to ask Him to heal you and believe it in your heart. Take the scripture that makes the promise that He will heal you as your medicine. Tell God you saw in His Word where it says, “I am the Lord that heals thee.” (Exodus 15:26). “Then heal me. I want to be healed and I am not going to look to no doctor to do it. They can’t. I don’t want to be on medicine for the rest of my life. I don’t want to have to take a pill that causes other problems. Since you are the great physician, please heal me, Sir.” I have done this as poetic as it sounds. That is why I don’t have chronic asthma anymore and the other myriad of sicknesses I had because I stood on God’s Word and believe Him as a child believes a parent. He walked me right out of sickness. Another area people need healing in is their hearts. We all have been hurt by somebody. Sometimes the hurt is so big that it stays with us for a long time. Some people carry it for a lifetime and they just shut down and stop living life. They just exist feeling depressed and can’t function. But God can heal depression and the hurt that it stems from. Depression is one of the major problems human beings face today. I have seen God heal someone of clinical depression that was so horrific and debilitating. But He healed them completely. It did not happen without persistent prayer. My executive assistant and I prayed fervently and believed God until He healed that person. We reasoned with God. He called this particular person to be an evangelist and a prophet. And I told God, “If she is depressed and shut down staying in her room for three days not bathing, how is she going to be what you called her to be if
14 I Red Wine
you don’t heal her. You told me you would make her a new woman.” The Bible says to war with the prophesies that are spoken over your life (1 Timothy 1:18). I am telling you greatness is in you but you don’t know how to get it out so that you and everybody else can see and experience it. Your touch should be powerful! You are so unique God gave you your own set of fingerprints. And He will never not know exactly where you are or who you are. He is leaving it up to you to come and invite Him into your life and make Him first above everything, including your job, family and even yourself.
“I am the
LORD
that HEALS thee.” (Exodus 15:26).
If you tell me you have a problem loving people because you don’t trust them, then you are the perfect candidate for this relationship with the One who created you. I call that a creative relationship, the one between you and God. My promise to you is that if you invite Him into your life, and start to have a relationship not religion, you will not regret it. Stop making excuses and start telling God what is going on with you and what
you need. Be very specific in your payers. And if something is embarrassing, say it anyway because He already knows. These are the exact things He wants you to tell Him. Tell Him so He can release the “new wine” that you need in your life to help change and mold you. He will give you the best you you could ever imagine. You won’t recognize yourself and will look back and say, I know that it was God who has done this”. It started when you invited Him in your life. No matter what area it is. Ask God to show you how to spend your money. Ask Him before you buy anything. Ask Him to help you with intimacy in your marriage. Whatever it is, JUST ASK.

New wine is the only way to live. It is for everyone from the criminal to the saint. It doesn’t matter where you start; it matters where you end up! God is a forgiving, merciful God. If you have done bad things and are sorry for them, go to God, tell Him and ask Him to forgive you once you have accepted Him into your life. of life you must accept if you want to have any peace is that everybody’s walk is different. You and a sibling can grow up in
the same house and have two totally different experiences. You can share gender and race with someone but your lives can follow divergent paths. You can sit on the same pew in church for years with someone but have totally different levels of faith. That’s just life.
I also learned early on that one can have gifts and talents and a calling but still walk a different path than another person with the same gifts and callings. We each have a divine assignment. Some will minister prophetically, some will ministry to the sick and others will sing or dance. No one path is more or less important. They are just unique and divinely assigned. This is an important conversation to have now because I am missing the voice of this time. I have the distinct feeling that a hush has fallen over the church in the face of gay marriage, gender transitioning, police brutality and shooting rampages. When certain things happen, I go to the internet to see what the spiritual leaders of our time are saying and I have found they are not saying much. And what they are saying is polished and politically correct.
When wars and famines broke out among the Israelites, they would go to the prophet and ask the prophet to seek God’s mercy for them. And to help them. The church was not just a spiritual place but it was the place where the people knew they could get the change they needed in their homes, their towns and their government. I do not believe this plan has been altered. The church is still the place people need to go to for real, lasting change. It was church leaders like Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and Rev. Fred Shuttles worth who were at the forefront of desegregation and civil rights in the US. Rev. Shuttlesworth didn’t just preach about desegregation but actual drove to a school with his wife to enroll his own children. He was beaten with chains and his wife was stabbed by a mob. But in his lifetime he saw the schools in the United States desegregated. And we know that Dr. King paid the ultimate price in the fight for civil rights.

But these were men of God not politicians. I believe just like God told Moses He heard His people’s cry over the hard labor they were forced into by the Egyptians, that God spoke to many men and women about the Civil Rights Movement. I believe that many prayers went up and God saw the suffering of monitories in the US at that time and God answered through men like King and Shuttlesworth and many people whose names we will never hear. But we live the fruit of their prayers and their faith and their service every day. I have to believe that God is talking to some people right now about the state of not only this country but the world. Perhaps you are one of the people God is trying to talk to. Imagine in this world of chaos, God wants to put a word in you that could save an entire generation.
Instead of a hush, the church should be giving a roar. Roaring back at the sin and devastation that has been unleashed in the world. When people feel like it is OK to say God made a mistake about gender and marriage, and that humans can decide the value of a life, we need a Moses that will stand before Pharaoh and pronounce God’s judgment. We need a David that is ready to slay the giant that dare speak against the God of Israel. We need a Dr. King and a Rev. Shuttlesworth who will usher in a prophetic move of God. We are in serious need of a Martin Luther or John Calvin who can separate dogma from doctrine so the people could see the real power of grace and mercy. Where’s the Oral Roberts who will clear out the cancer wards with a simple command for every unclean spirit to come out? How and to whom we minister will be different for each person but I know God has His hands on some people He wants to use to usher in prophetic, apostolic movements that will set the stage for the end time harvest. And it could be you! Yes, you with your issues and imperfections. God uses imperfect vessels. Turn your heart to God and seek His divine purpose for your life. In this world where there are so many ways to communicate, people still feel unheard and stifled. But God can help you find your voice. A man who does his work well will stand before kings because your gifts will make room for you, meaning they will grow you and through them you will have a place of divine purpose (Proverbs 18:16; 22:29). In you could be the word or deed that saves an entire generation. Go ahead and speak up for God! 17 I Red Wine
