Willowbrook DREAM Monthly Snapshot November 2012 Program Happenings and Highlights Three Willowbrook teens attended the Teen Futures Retreat at the King Street Center in Burlington, VT. The DREAM staff members in Vermont hosted the event, and the teens learned about summer opportunities, applying to college, and life after high school. Planning for Willowbrook’s culminating experience began! Each mentor/mentee pair chose a country to represent, and together they researched that country’s basic information, food, and culture.

Weekly Programming with Children
Mentors and mentees celebrated Halloween by trick-or-treating around the Bennington College campus and sharing scary stories. Mentees had one-on-one time with their mentors on campus. Mentees chose countries to represent and worked with their mentors to compile research for DREAM Around the World.
