Windsor/Union Square DREAM Monthly Snapshot May 2013 Program Happenings and Highlights • The DREAM office welcomed six seniors to the Alumni Organization on May 10. • Mentors and youth celebrated the end of another successful term on May 25. Their original culminating plan of Storrs Pond was cancelled due to weather, so they had an indoor barbecue, made jewelry, and watched a movie. • DREAM thanks Cody Cushing and Patrick Gould for their hard work and dedication as co-chairs during the winter and spring terms. We look forward to welcoming Maddie Abbott and Lindsay Newton back as co-chairs for the summer. Participants Mentees

There were three regular DREAM Fridays in May. There was no DREAM on May 17 as there were no classes for Dartmouth’s spring weekend. Mentors and youth participated in one-on-one and small group activities on Dartmouth’s campus. Activities included hiking, swimming, soccer, and a visit to the movie theatre. Mentoring pairs joined the Northwoods and Hollow Drive Local Programs, as well as two other on-campus mentoring groups, for a Spring Fling event on May 10. Activities included a pie throwing contest, face painting, tie-dye, and a raffle.
