Elm Street DREAM Monthly Snapshot August 2014 Program Happenings and Highlights • • • •
DREAM thanked Julia Dillavou, Laura Burnham, and Vanessa Spoates-Horl for a summer of great programming at their End of Service Celebration on August 1st. This month DREAM teens from across Vermont joined forces with Time of Wonder Sailing to go on exciting 4 day sailing trips off the coast of Maine! Mentors returned to classes on August 25th and will be starting DREAM up again in September! Kate Cahalane will begin working with the Elm St. program starting in September as their new Program Empowerment Director (PED). Kate comes to the Elm St. program with a year of experience as a PED with the three Dartmouth programs, and also with 4 years of mentoring experience with the Elm St. DREAM Program!
