Franklin Square DREAM Monthly Snapshot June 2016 Program Happenings and Highlights •

Camp DREAM took place at Camp Abnaki in North Hero Vermont June 14 through June 18. Seven Franklin Square DREAMers were in attendance and enjoyed their time swimming, doing arts and crafts, playing sports, and getting to know DREAMers from across the state! Summer Community AmeriCorps members, Morgan Beck, Amos Wolven, Mikayla Stark began programming at Franklin Square. A group of dedicated DREAM teens spent a week at Camp DREAM in Fletcher, Vermont participating in DREAM’s first ever Teen Trail Crew! The group did various projects around camp including trail maintenance and clearing brush in the old apple orchard!

Weekly Programming with Children • • • • •
The Summer AmeriCorps team kicked off their summer of programming with an ice cream social. The group took a trip to The Echo Center. Morgan and Amos took DREAMers to Leddy Park to swim! Franklin Square DREAM went to Sam Mazza’s to pick berries. The group did arts and crafts in the community.
