Program​ ​Happenings​ ​and​ ​Highlights ● This​ ​month​ ​DREAM​ ​staff​ ​hosted​ ​our​ ​annual​ ​mentor​ ​conference,​ ​DREAMstock!

We​ ​had​ ​over​ ​50​ ​mentors​ ​in​ ​attendance​ ​from​ ​seven​ ​different​ ​programs​ ​across the​ ​state.​ ​The​ ​day​ ​consisted​ ​of​ ​multiple​ ​trainings​ ​on​ ​topics​ ​including​ ​behavior management,​ ​cultural​ ​competency,​ ​healthy​ ​sexual​ ​development​ ​in​ ​youth,​ ​and​ ​a teen​ ​panel.

Weekly​ ​Programming​ ​with​ ​Children For​ ​the​ ​first​ ​Friday​ ​of​ ​the​ ​month,​ ​DREAMers​ ​competed​ ​with​ ​their​ ​mentors​ ​in​ ​a series​ ​of​ ​relay​ ​races. ● Next,​ ​mentees​ ​got​ ​into​ ​the​ ​spirit​ ​of​ ​the​ ​season​ ​by​ ​decorating​ ​mini​ ​pumpkins! ● The​ ​following​ ​Friday,​ ​DREAMers​ ​conducted​ ​their​ ​annual​ ​coin-drop​ ​fundraiser. ● On​ ​the​ ​final​ ​Friday​ ​of​ ​October,​ ​mentees​ ​and​ ​mentors​ ​dressed​ ​up​ ​to​ ​go​ ​on​ ​a Trick-or-Treat​ ​scavenger​ ​hunt! ●
