Program​ ​Happenings​ ​and​ ​Highlights ● This​ ​month,​ ​Middlebury​ ​students​ ​returned​ ​for​ ​the​ ​fall​ ​semester​ ​and​ ​started planning​ ​for​ ​DREAM​ ​Fridays! ● The​ ​co-chairs,​ ​Chris​ ​Adamo​ ​and​ ​Tara​ ​Santi,​ ​tabled​ ​at​ ​two​ ​activities​ ​fairs​ ​to​ ​recruit new​ ​mentors​ ​and​ ​many​ ​students​ ​showed​ ​interested!​ ​Mentors​ ​are​ ​going​ ​through the​ ​list​ ​of​ ​potential​ ​mentors​ ​to​ ​see​ ​if​ ​they​ ​would​ ​be​ ​a​ ​good​ ​fit​ ​for​ ​the​ ​program!

Weekly​ ​Programming​ ​with​ ​Children ● The​ ​mentors​ ​had​ ​their​ ​first​ ​DREAM​ ​Friday​ ​at​ ​the​ ​end​ ​of​ ​this​ ​month!​ ​They​ ​drove​ ​to Lake​ ​Dunmore​ ​and​ ​spent​ ​the​ ​afternoon​ ​swimming​ ​in​ ​the​ ​lake​ ​and​ ​making s'mores!​ ​It​ ​was​ ​a​ ​beautiful​ ​sunny​ ​day​ ​and​ ​the​ ​kids​ ​really​ ​enjoyed​ ​the​ ​s’mores! ● A​ ​schedule​ ​has​ ​been​ ​made​ ​for​ ​the​ ​rest​ ​of​ ​the​ ​semester.​ ​Both​ ​the​ ​students​ ​and kids​ ​are​ ​really​ ​excited​ ​for​ ​more​ ​fun​ ​weekly​ ​events​ ​to​ ​come!
