The teams will be determined according to blind draw, based on dividing all participants into A-B-C-D players according to handicap. Please see below the complete event details. These events have been created to fill the void left by not holding the 2021 Tail of the Whale Member-Guest due to COVID concerns and travel restriction issues. Chef Yasuo Asai
PUNTA MITA EL SURF CLUB FEB 18- 21 Punta Mita will once again welcome the incredible Chef Yasuo Asai to delight the palates of our community with a menu inspired by his heritage. Chef Asai was born in Japan and, as a constant traveler, discovered his love for food as a student. At only age 23, he decided to travel to New York to learn about living and cooking in “another world”. After having worked for the Hyatt hotel chain for several years, Chef Yasuo opened the doors of his own restaurant, Asai Kaiseki Cuisine, where he creates authentic Japanese food with a touch of Mexican culture and flavor. Chef’s Yasuo menu will bring to El Surf Club, the new has to know spot, a Touch of Japan to the shores of Punta Mita. Punta Mita’s gourmet offerings today are world class. A Taste of Punta Mita pays tribute to all the Chefs in the area as well as those Chefs that have worked in Punta Mita in the past or visited and participated in any of our signature events such as Gourmet & Golf, Golf Kitchen or Chef’s Tables. It also has a handful of recipes of some of Punta Mita’s Residents which the author has enjoyed over the years. The book features recipes from over 40 Chefs spanning 10 countries with over 70 recipes that are surprisingly easy to prepare in your own kitchen.
