At Least There’s This
by Yisel Borges Even with this heat at least there’s still the breeze and the trees through which the breeze travels. There’s also the giggle, a new sound the baby makes, it rings in my ear over and over like a sacred bell. Then we have this bowl passed slowly between us, and these lungs through which the smoke travels. Oh! And this chocolate, fuck it’s amazing! Melting in our mouths, and tasting like nothing else.

A Talk on Deprogramming Christian Worship by Jesse Tovar for Marty and Thal Stop singing. Sit down. Deprogram. Deprogram the urge to sing. Don't sing to Jesus. Don't sing in vain. He doesn't need it. Worshipping God in an elevated fashion is quite pretentious. Christian worship music is crafted in vanity. Jesus needs no ambiance. Most worship music is backed by record labels. Since when do Christ followers idolize Grammys? Instead of singing to the Father when one is giving themselves the praise, people should sit down and stop singing. Don't stand. Sit down. Don't stand up to worship music and sit down. Doing so is more natural, more genuine. Stop. Deprogram.

Nick Weddington : Gamer. 818. josh heller: josh heller works out of his gesamtkunstwerkstatt off of roscoe, co-founder of the creativity crisis center in canoga park Caitie Kohl: Caitie Kohl's hypersexualized mixed media paintings are exciting and absurd. The human female form is amalgamated with non-human matriarchal creatures - creating surreal and unsettling compositions. Kohl's work is a protest on societal gender norms and standards. The hybrid female figures depicted in her paintings allude to a sense of protection and power. Kohl's work explores and plays with the clout of the male libido in our society.
